    Great point Trevor made…Nas definitely struck a great balance between reminiscing on the past and giving advice for the future. AND he did it in a way that didn’t come off as condescending or preachy, which can be tough to do. He’s really embraced this mentor figure in hip hop and disproved the notion that it’s only a young man’s game

    I grew up listening to Nas. He’s like a sage on the top of a mountain that comes down and gives you knowledge and then goes back on top of the mountain. This was said about him back in the 90s and he still true of him today he’s the gold standard

    Nas was very diplomatic in his answer to "where hip hop is going" and i find it admirable even though im not a fan of 90% of it. He is still setting a precedent in his genre at the highest level, but at 50 years old

    Nas is one of my favorite emcees of all time and is hip-hop's greatest storyteller of all time. "Rewind", "It Ain't Hard to Tell", "What Goes Around", "Loco-Motive", "Get Down", "One Mic", "Hate Me Now", "I Can" are songs which Nas literally paints a picture of his hometown and neighborhood with words. Dude is a hip-hop living legend!

    Nas’s best album to date, possibly. Brought that 96-98 nostalgic era back better then anyone has to date with this one. Easily my favorite real hip hop album in ages. Kings Disease 3 🏅

      @@EDDIEROSSI77 the only status PAC enjoys now is a certain reverence that comes with death, especially a tragic one as his. When Nas dies, his status will go a notch further. But I love Pac!! His rap is a work of a performance artist, since he went to an arts school.

    with this album he solidified that he is the goat, listening to it it took me back the rap era of late 90s/2000s, that classic nas NY feel. every track is amazing, no skipping on this album, the beats and the lyrics are incredible.
