- Hey guys! Did you recently get married outside the U.S. and looking to sponsor your spouse? Or are you stuck in the process of sponsoring through a CR-1 Visa? Is your spouse a U.S. Citizen or a GreenCard Holder?
Then you can definitely enter the U.S. through the process of CR-1 Visa, which is the United State's Spouse visa category.
In this video, I'm sharing the list of documents and other details regarding the third step in your Visa Journey, which is Interview Preparation for your interview at the local embassy. This step concerns the Embassy and is very important in processing your CR-1/IR-1 visa. Please do your own research as well. This video only illustrates my own experience, as I am not an immigration lawyer. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding U.S. Immigration.

Hello Shahzad, thank you for your question. Sab se phele aap ki wife ko aap ke liye I-130 Petition file karna hoga USCIS mien. Agar aap ki wife U.S. Citizen hain, toh phir aap ka CR-1/IR-1 Visa hoga, joh around 2 years lag rahe hain aaj kal. Good Luck!

Ji phir apki wife ke father as a "joint sponsor" Affidavit of Support I-864 wala form fill krenge. Uss mien ek section mien aap ko checkmark karna hota hai yeh dikhaane ke liye ke joint sponsor responsibility uthayega.

Hi Hafsa thanks for the question. I dont know of any official website, but I usually keep a track of it by looking at the immigration and visa forums and facebook groups. People who get interview letters usually post updates and from there we can calculate which DQ's are being called these days. ISL Embassy is interviewing Feb 2021 DQ's these days. thanks

Kindly tell us how long the whole process takes i mean from filing i130 to nvc and then embassy and interview, is it 2 years or no? Hi Dua! Unfortunately these days even in citizen sponsor cases it takes even more time. Generally it’s 2.5 to 3 years these days. Some cases are different where people are put in AP and it causes further delays. Also age difference matters but it’s not something that you can’t deal with strong bonafide evidences. Hi Hafsa, thanks for liking my videos! Our entire process took around 20 months, but this is because we completed the USCIS process before the pandemic. Since the pandemic, there is a backlog of cases which is delaying every step, including the interview at embassy. Last time I checked, ISL embassy is issuing interviews for June 2021 DQ date. Hi Sunil, these days its taking more than 6 months to reach DQ (Documentarily Qualified) stage. But it depends on your particular emabassy and case too. Good luck!

Yes, jab interview letter agaya, toh maine aur mere husband ne CEAS par pics, chat logs, aur doosre proofs interview se 2-3 weeks phele upload kiye they additional document section mien. good luck

Hi lakshay Thanks for your comment. As per my research Mumbai embassy is currently sending IL to Dec 2021 DQ dates for interview in August 2022 regarding CR1/ Ir1 visa. You can expect yours in 8-10 months after your DQ. The Service center affects the processing time of your I-130 Petition, once at NVC, it's pretty much dependent on local embassy.

My case is CR1 with expedite request approved, my interview date is 18 July 2022, I request you all to please pray for me and mam one thing, what they mention in my interview email I have to bring those documents with myself. If they ask me for any additional documents I can say that was mentioned in my interview letter. Is that fine?
Congratulations on your expedite approval! Also you must have all documents mentioned in instructions in your interview letter or email. I can tell from my personal experience that they will ask only what they have told you to bring. But definitely keep all those documents with you too that youve ever uploaded on NVC website or sent to USCIS. You should have them with you too to be on safe side.

@@RamshaKhan18 alhamdullelah my visa is approved. They didn't even checked the supporting documents. The counselor officer said No need " your visa will be ready with in 14 days" thanks to my family and to you as well ramasha mam, your knowledge and good thoughts really helped me. Thanks again
