    Hello.
    Thank you for sharing.
    A customer told me the other day, "I watched this video and made a reservation here".
    I have just one request. You have been introducing my restaurant as "TEPPAN TAVERN", but to be precise, it should be "TEPPAN TAVERN TENAMONYA".
    A restaurant with a similar name has opened nearby, and customers are getting confused.
    Could you at least correct the notation on the screen?

      Hello Hideki-san!
      I am not able to change the text on screen without removing the video but I have done a couple things to help stop any confusion.
      I made sure your comment stays at the top so everyone sees it.
      I added a little text link pop up with your full restaurant name that if clicked also takes people to your website on the top right. This shows up when the original text with Teppan Tavern appears.
      We also show your sign before the text at 10:31 which shows your full restaurant name.
      I hope all of that helps avoid any confusion between you and the new restaurant 😊. Until next time!
      Trevor and Mary

      Thank you for the correction, Trevor-san & Mary-san.
      We are very honored to have you on your RUclips channel. A visitor to our restaurant wrote your channel name on the reservation form, so we were able to watch your wonderful video. We are deeply grateful for the constant support from many people, including you.
      ARIGATO GOZAIMASU.
      It's almost been a year since you visited our restaurant. You came in February, didn't you? We are happy that 2024 was a year of great progress for you.
      We pray from Kyoto that 2025 will be an even more wonderful year for you. We look forward to the day you visit us again someday.
      OHKINI.
      TEPPAN TAVERN TENAMONYA
      HIDEKI & NAOKO

    As someone with celiac disease and who wants to travel to Japan one day THANK YOU!! for sharing your experiences. Since being diagnosed I totally thought I could never go there or if I did I would have a terrible time finding places but with this video it has shown me there’s actually way more places I can eat. Again thank you so much!

      We're so happy to hear that! That is exactly why we made this video, we know how annoying it can be to travel gluten free. You will love Japan! There are always "emergency" salmon and sea salt onigiri at 7-11's which are everywhere that are gluten free (just have to read the labels with google picture translation) 😊

    If I ever find a restaurant with a full gluten free menu I'm pretty sure that I would start to cry on the spot with joy. I have been diagnosed celiac very early as a child (like most of us celiac people I guess) and so I don't remember ever eating a classic / common dish even in my country and wow it would be so amazing to be able to look at the entire menu without worrying about anything that I can't eat, that would be so so great 🥹 I'm not an emotional person but food has my heart... I almost started crying while eating my first ever triangle sandwich on an highway station in Italy on a trip with my bf. He told me that usually for non coeliac people these are the last thing you would want to eat but for me it was so incredible 😭 Sadly these don't exist in Switzerland where I live 😢
    But thanks A LOT for sharing these places really thank you ❤

    so glad to see there are videos specifically naming restaurants with gluten free options now on youtube! It's my dream to go to Japan and see as much as I possibly can. Just wondering, when you walk into certain restaurants, what do you say to ask if some places that aren't completely gluten free have gluten free options? I know that many countries aren't as familiar with the allergy as in the US. Thanks! :)

      So this was mostly found through doing research online first and then verifying in person. I think trying to find out whether a place can do gluten free in Japan without speaking Japanese would be quite difficult for us. We ask random places in other countries but the language barrier in Japan made it necessary to do research beforehand.

    This is just the video I needed! Just booked my flights to Japan but was a little hesitant that I wouldn’t be able to find gluten free food. Now I’m even more excited for my trip so thank you so much for sharing your recommendations! It all looks delicious 😀

      That's awesome! So glad we could make your trip more enjoyable. Also if you are ever in a pinch, 7-11 salmon and salt/pickled plum onigiri was gluten free from what we saw on the translated ingredients

    I cannot find the choux cream place or cake place in Kyoto you mentioned

    • @braunventures
      @braunventures  4 месяца назад +1

      The Choux place has basically no internet presence, the best we can do is that its quite close to this store on a bustling street below the kyomizu-dero niomon temple maps.app.goo.gl/qGRbvwxWfC2EwGWKA
      It is tagged on instagram here instagram.com/explore/locations/451615795207831/yatsu-hashi-choi/recent/
      For the cake place, just google map the name we put up in the video maps.app.goo.gl/tyL8vVK3yUShDw97A

    For the places that were not 100% a gluten-free restaurant (like the second & third place), would you say those are still safe for celiacs? Did you have any concerns with cross-contamination?

    • @braunventures
      @braunventures  6 месяцев назад +2

      We are both celiacs and did not have a problem at either location. Sometimes experiences vary with these things unfortunately, but we are confident enough to put it on the list.

      @@braunventures Oh! that's good to hear!! New to the channel so didn't realize you were both celiacs! And yep, I understand experiences can vary in these situations for sure. Thank you!!
