Aralee, you are a glorious flautist and exceptional teacher! Please forgive my comment on your old "vibrato" video with the hand-thing; sorry it seems the whole "vibrato" topic, whether for flute or voice, can cause some interesting teacher-derangement of sorts.
Hi Ron, I'm sorry you didn't like ANY of my videos on vibrato and that they triggered some frustrations for you! I really appreciate you taking the time let me know. It helps me realize why these particular might not make much sense to people who haven't already worked with me. They have been up here for several years, as a reference for my own students, those I've ALREADY done the exercises with person, and whose playing I've been able to listen to and observe in order to better tailor the coaching to their needs. It is a goal of mine to one day approach my youtube channel more professionally by adding new sequences of video topics that aim to be helpful to more people. I'm not quite there yet! But it's encouraging to know from your comments that flutists I've never met and have never heard me play actually FIND these these videos!!! RUclips is amazing! I have had a lot of success troubleshooting vibrato problems for my students in person know I could help you with it, too.
