Substance and Veist Stinger is good in PvE. I have it on a Dark Decider I got off IB, with Iron Reach and a range MW, and I've found myself taking out 8-10 red bars before I needed to reload. I don't notice it as much though on my Funnelwb with the same perks, but I am aware of it.

I got subsistence adrenaline strictly for PvE …. I was shreding minions with it !
Tactical mag , full bore , reload master work !
I mean is not perfect but it felt highly functional ; at some point you feel like you are mowing thru adds .

I've been getting subsistence adrenaline junkie rolls all season. Except I have been deleting them and here's why. In endgame pve content if you have an smg that requires a kill to prock a perk then you are in trouble. Passive perks that require little to no effort to activate are the best for pve content. A good example is Aisha's Embrace with "Triple Tap" (rapidly landing precision hits will return one round to the magazine) and "Fourth Time's The Charm" (rapidly landing precision hits will return two rounds to the magazine) with Appended Mag, 20 rounds in mag and constantly hitting crits in GM's... You do the math.

Season of plunder vendor in the helm has vendor focusing options.
Choose Veist weapons. You can turn all your Umbral engrams into Veist weapons. 1 in 7 chance of getting a funnel web.
