This perk is actually really strong against rifts and supers it’s like a mini vorpal with the added effect of getting stronger no matter the DR
If you’re radiant while you have the perk you’re doing actually close to full impact damage with just two shots. Meaning you can just proc radiant before gunfights for a really strong first shot followed by an even stronger second. If you really want to maximize on the perk tho run the aspect that makes solar weapon kills extend radiant.

Brya’s Love with Precision Instrument is nice, but on Igneous I’d personally use Golden Tricorn as the damage perk for 2-taps

It's really good, mine with PI is my current go to. I think people are somewhat turned off by how strict it is compared to things like Golden Tricorn or EOTS, but like you said it can absolutely put in solid work if you're hitting headshots anyway.

You technically don't need to hit a crit to stack PI. You just need to hit them, and not miss or stop shooting. The bonus damage is only on crit, obviously, but you can stack it on bodyshots. Granted, in PvP it doesn't really do anything to do body shots first unless you use it to go target to target.

You can 1 crit 2 body tier 2 or less with it. Also allows the same for all resil with radiant. Nothing crazy but im sure comes in handy here and there
that perk kicks in even in body damage not only precision, but if u miss 1 shot you lose all the stack

I got both the Keep Away/PI and Keep Away/Eye of the Storm Igneous and I can't decide which one is better. I just switch between them depending on how I feel that day. I guess its a good problem to have.

Don’t listen to this bum saywallahbruh, you’ll have 100 range with this roll (with adept range) and flared will make your reload feel extremely fast with keep away while adding stability so it’s pretty damn good 👍

Precision instrument is just target lock for scouts, snipers, and hand cannons.
Ironically it doesnt seem to be as much as a problem as target lock.
I wouldn’t say target lock is a problem overall, it’s just that it gives high fire rate weapons with a low mag size aka smgs a lower ttk. That’s why it’s so dominant. On every other weapon type, the perk is fine honestly. Also precision instrument only increases crit damage so it’s not as braindead as spraying with an smg (optimal ttk with most target lock smgs, still requires only headshots)
Nah it’s not forgiving as target lock weps so that’s fine. Keep away is the problem. Why use any other range perks when you have keep away? Nerf it so it gives less range, 15m to 20m, or -10 handling with keep away.
It can also roll on word of Crota, it SHOULD be able to 3 tap, would be a very good video 👀

They got rid of DMT Cranial Spike damage ramp because “the damage increase was unpredictable” and then they put this perk on several weapons 😭I just want DMT damage ramp back

I'm really happy I got the same rol as you did, but keep away instead of fragile focus and in the last column Precision instrument and moving target so I can change my weapon on the fly if there are many void titans on the opposite team
Sadly I couldnt get an Adept (but got 3 immortal weeks flawless idk why) Ive gotten this exact combo and it feels really good.
Just so you know, you can farm wins on a card if it HAD a flawless on it, even after you get a loss, and you’ll get adepts to drop every so often if you win a game
This perk would’ve been gross back when 120s did 91dmg

with a single emp rift or lumina buff you can two-tap up to 3 resil. one more reason to run higher resil on a hunter now. not a really big reason though
I’ve been hyping this perk up for people and everyone argues Eye of Storm is the better perk. I have a Arrowhead/Ricochet/KeepAway/PrecisionInstrument roll with Range MW and it’s NASTY. It can 3 tap an overshield Titan.
correction, you don't need to hit headshots in order to increase the headshot damage. As long as you keep hitting shots your damage numbers will increase, goes 80-84-87-90, etc

? Stop acting like this gun/perk combination is even CLOSE to being a problem. There are absolutely oppressive weapons to duel against, this isn't one of them.

FYI you don’t have to hit headshots to keep the damage going. Body shots count towards your consecutive hit multiplier, they just don’t get the damage buff

Aint no way you got the roll that i was looking for 3 weeks of igneous (still prefer keep away over fragile bc reload sucks) 😢. Additionally, i think you missed the part where you can 2 tap a 100 resil guardian while staying in a well or having weapons of light and while standing in a well you 3 tap the enemy guardian while theyre stand in a well

Great perk, unfortunatly not the best thing for an average player, since u miss a crit more often than u like (~1.3kd overall ~1.1 trials). I personally am still going for consistency perks like eots or moving target (for sixes, if I’m playing on solar, tricorn all day long)

@@cfcbailey7583 since u don’t have access to ember of empyrean on other subclasses, and choosing a perk for a single ability with ~1 min cd (hunter 2 incase of radiant dodge or gamblers dodge refresh) is not worth it in my opinion. Radiant is only worth if it’s refreshable with empyrean. (Tricorns extra 50% dmg from getting an ability kill after u got x1 already, is nice, but basically never happens, even in sixes)

I finally got my adept version and I got fragile focus and golden tricorn which I was upset about until I used it. Did not expect to be doing 92 per head shot and 58 per body. I was running around 1 to the head 2 to the body on everyone. I'm sure resilience stat comes in to play here.
It doesn’t have to be a headshot it’s damage dealt in general

This is the role I got that I tried to tell everyone they were sleeping on with the extra damage precision gives at damage fall off ranges plus the buff to fragile focus makes you only lose the range buff after your shield drops, so you only lose it on your third shot if you're in a trade with another 120
Same dude, I’ve been trying to tell folks Precision instrument is super slept on. Precision instrument on a 120 feels like a baby target lock
