I just got into Jeff Loomis' playing and bought a 7 string so I can learn some of these Nevermore songs, this is one of my favorites. Awesome job both of you, Attila I'd love lessons on Nevermore and Sanctuary material if you'd ever be interested in doing so.
Crazy amount of talent here, this is the first cover of this I've seen where the feel of the solo matches the original (there's a moment where I feel like I hear Loomis drag a little in the tempo then catch back up towards the beginning of the solo, and this is literally the only time I've heard anyone else do it, it's been driving me crazy for years and I was starting to think I was just imagining it). This is a legitimate question and not just to be an asshole, did nobody look at the playback before posting and notice the rhythm guitar over the solo was a half step off the whole time?
Great performance! The student ripped, especially through the second solo! You are a great teacher (and an amazing guitarist, of course). I really like the tone too. It seems that you used STL ToneHub plugin. If so, can you tell me what preset?
Hez Giuseppe! Thanks for the kind words! Indeed I was using STL ToneHub. It was some Mesa Rectifier, and my student was miced up with His Recto using a Harley Benton 2x12 which sounded super amazing.
Thank you for the infos! I heard great things about those Harley Benton 2x12 cabs indeed. p.s. As somebody already said, it would be awesome if you could do some Nevermore lesson here on RUclips or on Patreon!
Yeah, baby ❤😂🎉...
ZSE-NI-Á-LIS! Kornél a kedvenc tanonc! Remélem lesz még vele valami közös remekmű!
