Probably the best concert I've been to! 6:05 With the white t-shirt... that's me aged 15!
Haha!
That's me aged 19 at 17.09. Still the best gig I've ever been too. We grew up in great times
There I am again at 8:34!
Maaaan, I'm so envious. I was 12 and wish I'd got my dad to take me to Bradford haha. Saw Jeff Buckley a few years later when I was 15 though. In Wolverhampton, then again in Cambridge. I'm so grateful for videos like this existing
I was at this gig. Amazing night. I was front row of the balcony and briefly held Eddie's hand before he dived into the crowd.
RUclips is so amazing! During this time I was middle aged, working hard, having a kid and being responsible. Now I can sit it my living room and catch up on what I missed. Loved these early years. Loved the long hair. Loved the people getting on stage and leaping into the crowd with no need for security. Thank you Dave A. for the energy. Thank you whoever filmed this. Thank you whoever posted to RUclips.
I have so much respect for these early tapers....it certainly wasn't easy to tape entire shows back then considering the type of equipment they had to work with. So once again THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TAPING!
gone are the days of smuggling in tape video cameras :) thank god lol
That was me at 17.08. Wow what a trip seeing yourself 30 years later.
wow
I love the older Pearl Jam concerts when they could be with the crowd
I absolutely love Pearl Jam younger years!! 😊💓🤘✌️ I love to watch the Tower Records little concerts in 1991, unplugged, OUTSTANDING!! You see their true talent just like MTV unplugged.
fuck me.. so cool to find this video, I was there.. Pearl jams first ever gig in the UK... what memories
❤I LOVE watching you Eddie ❤
Apparently Eddie offered to help on the bar after the gig finished. I know this because of a friend's uncle who worked on the promotions for this gig. He was managing the bar and Eddie insisted on working the bar because of his throat and not feeling weel, so he did that for the rest of the show.
I was there myself....21 years ago....jeeez!
30 years now ...
Greatest Gig I ever went to little did we know that history was in the making. I met Jeff before the gig walking through Bradford town centre and he was shocked that we even knew him nevermind talking to him about Mother love Bone.
LightninXD that’s so cool.. i’ve lived between leeds and bradford all my life and can only dream of seeing them at places like this
Sooo much energy, oohh my goodness!! I love Pearl Jam since the beginning. I love all eras of Pearl Jam, they sure have come a long way, so proud of them all!!! AMAZING 💓😊🤘✌️
Thanks so much for sharing this. I was also there. Probably the best gig I ever saw. The energy was electric. And thanks to Eddie for stage diving on me!
I was there! Great gig. Will remeber it for ever. Thanks for uploading.
Love that Eddie helped the guy up on stage to stage dive! Back then we didn’t separate from the bands. It was an amazing time ❤❤❤
I was there! Missed the last train back to Leeds, no recollection of how I got home. So fucking sweaty! Surprised I didn't freeze to death.
Love it...glad you didn’t freeze!
wow
I was there, it was amazing!
This is fantastic. I can't believe that people in the crowd were allowed to jump up on stage and walk around, etc. Seemed like there was no security. Nowadays, you cannot even get close enough to jump up on the stage. Those were the days. Simply amazing.
I was at this gig wearing my work overalls. I went on my own straight from work and had enough money for 1 can of Stella !! Never forget this gig, especially when Vedder dived into the crowd from the balcony
Timestamp?

Great days back in Bradford. We had so many amazing bands go through. I was at that show and absolutely blown away.
Saw the Black Crowes in the same venue and many many more.
I was at this, In fact I was the girl that jumped onto the amp with Jeff, then the video-er moved away :(. So chuffed this gig is out there though. Bloody amazing!
so mad the person stopped filming that part lol. Jeff can dance!
hannah topicz awww wish we could see that...lucky girl..
That totally rocked. Was so raw. Ed had some vocal issues, and like a fucking trooper he powered through it. The crowd at first pissed me off , thought it was disrespectful but than they were just feeling it. Can't blame them for going nutshit at that show. It wasn't there cleanest performance, but it was raw and looked like pure freaking fun
wow, what a great a show... that set list is incredible
That's me with the red hat in my hand, talking to Eddie at approx 1hr 3...then falling over on the stage when leaping on the monitor to stage dive🤣
dave abbruzzese made this awesome
+Herbert .Gatchalian One piece of the puzzle.
Dave always pull them out of possible mess with crowd.,especialy in theirs early gigs., all do respect to jack and matt, but with dave this is the best pearl jam! He gives them this hard, this rock growe.,soul,whatever.matt is real good in the older songs or in the soundgarden, but dave is fakin beast.

I've been a fan since the Ten, singles days. What great times. They all look like businessmen now.
Unreal! Loved to have been there!
Eddie walked around the balcony edge and grabbed my arm to stop himself falling. I though you sweaty git... if I'd known I'd have cut my arm off and framed it. I remember they didn't even have tickets printed. I got a Bridewell Taxis ticket at the door! £4!
favorite part of this video is Jeff`s dancing towards the end hahaha
PJ bossed then as they still do now!!
Thanx for sharing this incredible footage
i love bootleg music. the HD shows are alright. the energy of each concert is different, if the show is put together from a multitude of shows or pieces of the same show well it does not seem as honest or true. adding light, fixing the volume,or adding clarity is alright in my opinion. but leave the show whole and you do not change the integrity of the bootleg. that is why i go see live concerts. the honest energy. thank you for the upload. i really enjoyed it.
It was a great show. Easily surpassing the Nirvana show up the road 3 months earlier.
Awesome. I love PJ!
lo que daría por haber estado ahí... escenario a pie de pista
Great footage. Thanks so much for posting this.
Inspirational!
Fucking hell. Jeff just pissed off for most of the end.
I was at this gig, seem to recall enjoying Claytown Troupe supporting
que bacana ver os meninos puramente se divertindo e, por acaso, fazendo um show incrível. É bom ver um PJ que nunca pude assistir ao vivo
awesome - the last 15 minutes are the best! Just curious - is the embedding for a reason? I tried to share this with a PJ group of about 3,000 members and all the links don not play b/c they are embedded. It's always nice to have the preview for them to come here...copying the address and using the FB link do not allow. Anyway - thanks for the awesome videos - keep em' coming!

HELL.YEAH. Thanks, PJVG!!!
45:12 hot
my god is over 30 years ago? that was a great gig £3.50 on the door! eddie walked the whole balcony circle then dived into the crowd. the oncore was out of this world..........they invited people from the crowd to play music whilst the band just stage dived eddie even held his own child over the mosh pit and dropped the kid into the pit ......the kid just bounced back onto the stage amazing night
then off to rio rocks up the road for an after party with the band
no security pay on the door and grainy footage yes good days different world back then
I have never seen a show with no security before. Random people running around on stage throughout the whole thing. Funny!
Some of those strapping young British lads made Eddie look tiny.
he's only 5'7" and probably 140lbs on tour soaking wet.
14:15?.what.he.said?
Black...
It doesn't get Eddy Vedder than this
Not REM! lol
Dave has been gone for 22 years. Let it go
