Absolutely love how the intro to Go sounds just like the album. I don't think I've ever heard them do that before (at least with Cameron as their drummer).

I had nosebleed seats for this show, randomly went to the box office with my cousin at 3pm the day of the show and by some miracle they had extra seats available...... bought face value tix for the side of the stage, lower level row 8. Incredible experience!!

My favorite PJ record in its entirety with a great sound and awesome performance, this is beyond amazing.
21innocentbystander I've never really connected with Binaural. It has always been my least favourite PJ album. Not for the lack of trying over the years either:)
It always interests me how awesomely subjective music can be; how one person hears one thing yet another hears something completely different. May I ask, can you describe what it is about Binaural that resonates with you?
To me, it's PJ at their most mature, vulnerable and sad. It is also my favorite of theirs regarding production/mixing/mastering. I always hear something new. With headphones, it's so intimate. Eddie's singing feels sweeter, more refined to me, less 'forced'. I love the flow of the record, the weirdness, the epic sadness of 'Nothing as it seems', the powerful sadness of 'Insignificance', the pure sadness of 'Parting ways'... My fav PJ records go from Vitalogy to Binaural. I have a soft spot for the 'weird' ones. Less a fan of the 'cock rock' records (for lack of a better term). Least fav is 'Lightning bolt'. Binaural is one of my desert island records, got the artwork tattooed on my calf! I know it is their least liked record- I'm such a huge PJ fan, I know I tend to defend the black sheep (as they called it once), surely I gave it extra more attention and love knowing that!
I'll now give you a little anecdote: when I started listening to PJ in '00, I blasted my 'VS' tape in the car with my dad on vacation in Italy, hoping he'll be impressed. He wasn't. Then next I put 'Binaural' and I remember him saying 'Now that is really good'. Eh. I guess it left a mark!

Diego Duque yep. There's a handful of songs now that they have to downtune due to Eddie not being able to reach the notes he did in past. Habit comes to mind. Also even Getaway, the opener to LB is tuned one note lower.
