This is one of my favorite concerts. So cool they asked PJ to play the last show. Didn't even know about the damned place! But this is an excellent set list and they put on an extraordinary last show. Thank you for this video--awesome man. Peace
I was at this show (Saturday 10/31/09) and as great as it was, I was told from people that went to both shows, that the Friday show the night before was better.
Yea sir, proud to say I was there, on the floor about 15 rows back in the middle , unbelievable night and to this day the best show I’ve ever seen live.
Didn’t see this exact show in PA but saw same the tour a month earlier in Salt Lake City (9-28-2009). It was pretty close to this showing as far as theme, set, time, etc.. Just like this showing, everyone there left that place knowing they’d just witnessed something special. Something that will never happen again, being quite that special, at that moment.
My wife and i were here at thr longest PJ concert ever! Weve now seen them 27 times in 11 different countrues and on 3 different continents 😁👍. My wife introduced me to PJ 32 years ago our first date lustened to Ten! My life has never been the same and ti say this band is a big part of our lives is an understatement lol. 31 yesrs married 5 daugyters and a lifetime of Pearl Jam 😁🥴. Not a half bad life!! Cant wait til this summer tour 2023!! #28 coming soon!!
I was lucky enough to be at this show plus 2 of the other 3 Spectrum shows that week. All were pretty EPIC!! But this was by far the BEST PJ show I've ever been to and that includes an awesome show at MSG. Grateful to everyone who was a part of putting this together, I get to relive the night! Pearl Jam and you rock!

Saw all 4 PJ shows to close the Spectrum. A friend of mine worked the box office at the time. I was in the front row for two shows. The show on the 27th my friend got me "obstructed view seat"s. TRUE STORY. The spectrum had MANY seats that were behind stanchions. You could not see the event. The tickets all came with warnings, "OBSTRUCTED VIEW SEAT". I have them from hockey, basketball, and other concerts. But this ticket is among my prize show memories. High as a kite on "Purple Kush" sat back and enjoyed PJ for the first of 4 shows. Fuck yeah.
I saw the demolition of the Spectrum. It was the absolute definition of horror show. People were cheering when they should have been crying, and they were playing/singing "God Bless America" when they should have been singing "Amazing Grace". I was mortified.
I saw dio at the Spectrum 85' and JP in 88'. Monsters of Rock 88' at JFK. Veterans Stadium the WHO 89'. The Rainbow Theatre 90' Deep Purple. All of it is sadly gone!
I remember being there when the Philly's were in the world series and the crowd was unbelievable like I never been to a concert with that many people and I've been to a lot of performances. I won't ever forget that night! Thank you to my cheating crazy fucking ex boyfriend.
Really awesome and amazing concert and performance, that (You Are) song is sooooo incredible Soo different just like Tremor Christ love song too!! Over 3 hours long amazing!! Thank you PearlJamOnline for sharing 😊🤘✌️💓 I LOVE PEARL JAM FOR LIFE!!
🎸🤘I'm from Philly. Many saw many concerts there. Missed Pearl Jam. OMG... My Dad did go to Woodstock tho and met Jimi.. Watched that once in a life time performance on stage.😎
The Philadelphia Spectrum must have had amazing acoustics for a multi event arena ??? This sounds awesome and I see so many live recordings have bee taped inside the Spectrum was it that good ??
@@davidskalish must have been so many live recordings are held inside the Philadelphia spectrum. Yes. Yes it was. We also have The Tower Theater, best small size venue , (seats @ 3 ,000) in the country with amazing acoustics which has also had numerous shows recorded for live albums for many big acts David Bowie Bruce Springsteen just to name a few. And its still standing,, Thank God.
So far I've only heard 1sampling of Eddie's voice and some covers of Black. A few similarities to Olivia Vedder's voice, and 1cover of Alanis's "Ironic", that's about it. There's a "rat" for you.

@@pearljamonline_it Unfair comparison. The Mansfield show was almost an hour on stage for the the acoustic set (6:30-7:30). Then Sleater-Kinney came out as the "warm up" (7:30-8:30). Then PJ was back for another three hours in the main set, blowing out the 11:30 curfew. I was at the Mansfield show, they were on stage for over four hours combined (before/after Sleater-Kinney). You're taking the bootleg song cuts and comparing the total to the total time they were on stage at Philly, that is "apples/oranges". Add up the song cuts from the Philly show and you'll come up with less time. Wikipedia sights Mansfield as the longest PJ show. Also, 40 songs at Philly, 47 songs at Mansfield.
