Love the video , only thing I recommend is a bigger drawer in the back . Built a big one in the back of my jk and has made life so much more organized !
@@jonathanguy830 There are dozens of options out there. What're you looking for? I just ordered a DMR hard wired radio, I'll be doing a review on that as well. Each radio is different and has a different user interface. I got the Yaesu FTM 400 since it's what most of our team uses in the field. I also carry a small Boafend handheld for out of the vehicle use. A lot of people prefer Kenwood over the Yaesu, but it's just personal preference and what you feel comfortable with. I liked the digital and touch screen from the Yaesu which swayed my ultimate decisions. Let me know if you have any questions.
@@adamschoenfeld3284 I'm most interested in the antenna location and mount you are using. I run a Comet B-10 on my Ram, I've used the B-10 PO mount antennas for 15 years or more and really like them.
@@jonathanguy830 I can for sure do a review on the mount that I am using! It's a very good whip antenna and mount. I get the most distance on my radio with it there.
Hey Marshal! Sorry I never saw your comment! Thank you for the advice, I typically use a microphone with a windsock on it but it wasn't charged haha. Thank you for watching!! Lots of content coming out this week with Jeep updates, stay tuned.
Great setup and gear you've got, looks great! I myself also drive around somewhat well equipped. I do however still need to get a very good medic kit and a hard wired HAM radio. If I may ask...where are you from Denver? Colorado Springs? I'm in Highlands Ranch just south of Denver. Would like to perhaps run across you if you're around and pick your mind about setting up a HAM radio in my Jeep. Cheers!
Hey! Thank you, I'm still working on it for sure haha. Having a good medic kit is something that everyone should carry. Also knowing how to use it is crucial. Hard wired HAM radios are the best thing I have ever invested in. I'm located in Denver, near Cherry Creek! Which radio did you get/ are you just deciding where to put it? I just left back to Los Angeles for a few weeks, but I'm happy to help over text or if you want to wait till I get back I'm happy to meetup! Let me know!
@@adamschoenfeld3284 thanx for the reply. I hadnt purchased the radio yet and I hadnt taken the HAM test either, I'm hoping to do that by summer. The radio I wanted to purchase is the Icom ID 5100A. @@co4x4 So I have some recommendations for you. I'd say you download the Technician Exam app on your phone, I think that it is $5 but it is well worth it. They have unlimited randomized practice tests that are the exact questions on the test. I'd recommend just doing them nonstop 1-2 days before the actual exam and you should be fine if you understand the idea. After you pass the test, I'd recommend you take a trip to Ham Radio Outlet since you're in Highlands Ranch. It's probably 25 mins from you depending on where you are. They have all the HAM radios that you could possibly want, that is where I along with all my friends get our radios from. They'll be able to help you with no problem and get you all set. I can totally help you get it installed when the time comes! Let me know!
What recovery hooks are you using? I have been thinking about getting a set for when I help people out the ditch, but everything I see is "not for recovery use"
So many of the companies say that they're "not for recovery use" because they don't want to be liable if anything happens. I've seen them break and snap before but it is rare. I'd say going to any local off-road shop to get a specifically rated D-Ring/hook (same thing). I wouldn't trust the hooks without a certain pound weight rating. I personally get mine at a local industrial shop, they don't have a brand name on them but they will never break! Enjoy!
@@Jeremy5431 I don't think that it'll be an issue even though I have not heard of that brand. I would recommend going no less than 10,000 pounds for a load limit. Anything above this should be great and reliable.
I know people pick on you about calling it a car you should use the word RIG and could you show more video of you guys going up the trail and getting the RP down it feals like we get the middle of the show and miss the start and the end but you do a gr8 job just a little constructive criticism
In my opinion the torque wrench is a waste of space. Depending where you are you probably won't have access to torque specs. Just carry a breaker bar and get the nuts / bolts good n tight

Love the thin blue line hat, awesome video
Thank you!! I need to get a sticker as well haha
Great video and a solid loadout. Thanks for backing the blue - it is appreciated!
Calling it a car is like misspelling a word on a billboard. It gets people's attention. Perfect!

This was cool to see what recovery gear you use! We love riding in Colorado!
Another awesome video as always Adam 😊
Thank you Autumn!!
I like the dash mount for the dual band head. Looking forward to seeing a more in depth look at your radio and antenna installations.
Thank you, Jonathan! I'll for sure be uploading that in the near future! Stay tuned for sure. Do you have a radio?

But how many spare 10mm sockets are in in that tool box😂😂
nice set up!
Haha yes, there are so many 10mm sockets. I lose them all the time and then find them a week later!! Thank you Christian!
