The Ming 17.09 I have comes on a black alcantara strap with blue contrast stitching which is great. Was considering some other color options, so thanks for sharing some examples!
@@kenneth7826 Well I'm only 17 so there's no bank to break xD but Nomos has certainly caught my eye recently. I try not to obsess over a particular item though - rather stay quite open-minded. Plenty of time to decide either way :)
Was recently told the IWC pilot’s bracelet is the same/very similar as the ALS. The ALS tapers however, whereas the IWC bracelet does not for some reason. The micro adjustment is so great.

How do you find the alcantara holds up in warmer climates? Would you suggest an alternate material for the lining...say maybe rubber?...or is that futile? I have a vintage Rolex dress watch that I would like to possibly get a custom strap for but I'm a bit concerned about the heat given I live in a desert. Any feedback/thoughts you could provide would be greatly appreciated!

I put black alcantara with blue sides and stitching on a blue accented Linde Werdelin Oktopus ll and it was amazing.
Looks great. All I need now is a watch : D

Hi Aaron, if you are concerned with sweating through the alcantara then it would be a good idea to add rubber lining to the strap!
