    What? No IPad EFB? I'm old school but carrying that large bag with heavy Jepp charts was no fun back in the day, not to mentioned revisions updates enroute. It takes seconds to update now, and less trash. Great video and very professional crew and an awesome approach briefing. Thanks for sharing.

      Pardon if I insult your intelligence, but EGPWS callouts from radio altitude are customized for each airlines as per their SOP. Some airlines require callout in 5 feet increments below 50', or say two thousand-five-hundred, instead of twenty-five hundred at RadAlt active. This aircraft may not have been configured to call out the 20, 10. In an autoland, the systems would have switched to flare mode by then anyway. Hope I haven't offend you.

    How is it possible that the controllers at YUL can speak French when they should be speaking English. There are a lot of pilots coming from the US and other areas who don't speak French and might like to know what's going on around them.

    • @Cheftony53
      @Cheftony53 5 лет назад +6

      Loni Stewart its like that all around the world ! Listen to live ATC, pilots speak portuguese in Rio, spanish in Mexico, russian in Moscow etc...is it ideal ? Maybe not but it is actually alot safer for some of these folks to speak their mother tongue instead of trying to communicate in a language they don't master.

      It is but sometimes people talk on open frequencies on other languages, for example all the time I flue in to Inching in soul South Korea the controllers talked to os in ‘’English’’ and to other Korean crews in Korean. It’s a bit annoying because the poppers of open Chanel’s is that every body is listening to what’s happening. And that’s not happening when com is made on other languages. Because I don’t speak Korean or French so I don’t understand a word of what’s going on when they do. Hope it was helpful kind regards
