Oh yeah... You also need to have thick skin and work with extremely limited if not non-existent resources, if you are performing QA functions in North America for mid level companies. So, when problems present themselves and you have data to back up a claim that resources are unavailable to attend to this issue and you find out that upper management cannot justify additional headcount, do yourself a favor and resign in a respectful manner. It is all downhill from that point. No one cares and quality is only the responsibility of the one person QA department.
