Today my partner tried to find a way out of her psychiatrist's appointment just three hours before the scheduled time, when I was ready to accommodate it 100 percent by taking care of our sick kid. In the end she went there, I don't know how succesful it was or how knowledged the psychiatrist was on OCD, but I can only hope for the best. It's not always easy to navigate everyday life with someone having an OCD spike! As a family member or support person you got to focus on the main goal, and not get worked up if some things along the way don't go exactly to your plan. Kind of like with our toddler 😂
