Thank you, Matt. I very much appreciated your explanation of intuition, and the difference between that and our mind/ego. “Our intuition is always correct, our mind is often wrong.” I really enjoyed that statement, words to ponder for sure. :)
Omg matt u and i are connected, it’s something i was thinking just a while ago and it got so overwhelming i had to call in sick at work. One thing that really helps me is “let go, let god” and also that whenever god says something to me, it will be liberating not depressing. Also I don’t believe in dark knight of the soul, especially if it is too intense.
I deal heavily with religious anxiety. Ive been in a sliral for weeks. I want to be a christian but have so many issues with doctorine and the fear of not believing proper doctrine. Like what IF i think this way is how to get to heaven but im believing a lie and wnd it ceasing to exist or going to hell? Its just scary. Apart of me is like with if this isnt anxiett but God warning me about destruction. Day and night im anxious and uncertain
I am completely with you on all that you've said. I struggle greatly with fear of hell or being disobedient to God as I think He is speaking to me. I live daily with this anxiety. Some days are worse than others. But my thoughts and prayers are with you 🙏🏾
The Bible is the only book on the planet that tells us the truth. The whole bible is about Jesus. “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6 ESV Since the sin of Adam and Eve, every human is sinful and rebellious. Thank God for Jesus. Jesus is God in the flesh and He came down to earth to die for all humanity. He satisfied Gods wrath by his death on the cross and then overcame death by raising from the dead on the third day. Jesus said to believe on Him who was sent by the Father by repenting of your sins and totally putting your faith in Jesus. After trusting Jesus with your life and placing your faith in Him he gives you the gift of the Holy Spirit. I disagree in this video of listening to our intuition, I would refer that as listening to the Holy Spirit as a believing Christian. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. The Bible also refers to getting baptized in obedience to follow Jesus which doesn’t save you but signifies the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. God wants us to be with Him for eternity. That’s why Jesus came. Let me tell you …… That is not only good news, that is awesome news. My wife has struggled with scrupulous religious thoughts for most of her adult life. She is a believer in Christ but was raised in a legalistic church. The Word (Gods word ) is truth and Jesus is Truth embodied as a man. She has to continually rely on Gods word and the Holy Spirit every day to unwind all untruths from her mind. Thanks for listening. “So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who practices sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:31-32, 34-36 ESV

Same here I’ve also been thinking about this lately!
Matt, from my experience, intuition lacks the element of fear and is more like a friend that taps you on the shoulder and says, “Watch out buddy...”
