Oh my bro I’m my opinion gas is way way better than electric. Gas is way more reliable and runs all day long. Gas never over heats no matter how hard you run them and you never break parts because your not sending it 50 feet in the air. The new Taylor engines have massive power just like electric and you don’t have to manage a ton of batteries. Gas is the winner to me all day everyday bro. My electrics are fun but man they are a pain, always blowing up motors or the esc just decides to crap out or a battery cell goes bad. Electric is a serious money pit that never ends, and all for about 20 mins of fun and that’s it. Then after a while you have a massive pile of bad lithium batteries that can all of the sudden burn your house down 😂😂😂. It is illegal to just throw them in the trash and they are super dangerous. Man gas is so awesome bro, you just have to experience it for yourself to find out.

This video really helped me a lot. I was wondering if I should go electric or gas, I used to have gas and loved it. But my new neighborhood is pretty quiet, so I think gas would be a huge disturbance when I drive around on my street and backyard.

How many people stop when they see one of your RCs flying through the Air? And are like what the hell is THAT? I love the smell of gas, even though electric is instant torque and power, just like gas, there is more involved with gas then electric, but then again you can blow your arm off if not careful with electric when your dealing with batteries!

Thank you brother! The gas car is a lot heavier and has way less control in the air due to manual brakes. It is a lot more fragile and would not survive the death ramp! 🤣🤣🔥🔥🏆
hitting that big of a jump with a gas rig could (probably would) break the gas tank and engine. electrics are faster and can handle crazy jumps better, gas rigs are just to feel cool and annoy your neighbors.

I seem to run into the issue of breaking all my stuff before I can even burn through a battery pack so range has never been an issue for me. lol There is something Nostalgic about the Gas cars though! no denying that, and the smell..mmmmm!
Both platforms have their Pros and Cons, so I feel that they're even! I love speed and torque, so that's where the electric wins, I love not having to stop and change batteries and the longer run times that gas provides. Even though a gallon of gas is sky high, it is cheaper than electric in the since that you don't have to buy batteries. I just bought a Traxxas XRT, and I didn't have ANY 4S batteries. So, I bought the XRT, and I invested in a new 400-watt, 4 port multi-chem charger (AND I THINK I LOVE THE CHARGER MORE THAN MY CARS [WIERD HUH? 😅]), and SIX 9,000 MAH LiPo Batteries, and that ran me close to $2k altogether! I absolutely ❤️ all of my RC'S, and I would do It all over again! Yes, gas can be trying at times (Nitro's, too), and sometimes I feel that I don't need a 45 lb 5th scale hitting 60 mph, there's just not enough room in some places. In the long run, gas is cheaper (Not to mention the BRAAAAAAP factor), electrics are cleaner and more maintenance-free, depending on how you look at it. You can also put a MEGA ENGINE in the gasser and gear it to the max. You have a lot more to change out in an electric, so my final disposition is that they're equal! It depends on only what you prefer! At the end of the day, ALL RC'S RULE! LOVE PEACE AND BLESSINGS TO YOU ALL!✌🏾

I definitely like gas more but people always complain about the noise(which is why I love them) so it's a pain to find a spot to run them and there's no reverse. Electric has more pros like less maintenance and reverse is a huge one but you can't beat the sound of the 2 stroke. I'll probably end up converting my Baja to electric just so I can use it wherever, whenever I want without worrying about people complaining about the noise. People suck.

Gas to me is much more of a powerful presence than electric is. Electric RCs always feels more like a toy than gas or nitro. Thats just how i feel about it. Electrics are cool and all, but driving a big gas RC gives a whole different adrenaline rush than the electric silence. I guess it has to do with the gas gives a scream like its going fast like a top fuel funny car would do while electric sounds more or less like a hairdryer coming by.

I love the 2-stroke and I also love Nitro cars, but the electric is just so much more practical for a EDB (Every Day Basher) Untill I repair my burned down XRT and fix both my broken xmaxx's I think Ill have to wait a bit on another 1/5, but WHEN I do get one I shall follow your most current advice on the Max5 or something comparable. Do you think its too heavy for the 1100? I be Kev has a MAHUUUSIVE Motor for that Bitch! SEND IT BROTHER! Love your content man, Raw, Clean and full of SENDS just how it should be! 20 minute run times, lipos burning up and going bad, not to mention escs overheating and blowing up or motors… the cons of electric are staggering in my opinion. As a heavy user of both platforms I can tell you that my gas rigs run all day, they have very little maintenance, they are way more fun to drive, they cost way less to maintain, and I get about 5 times the amount of use daily. The only thing electric wins in is bash-ability in my opinion. Other than that Gas is the winner all day for me. 💯🚀🏆🏆🏆

gas does have better range though. refueling is faster than charging batteries and waiting for motor and esc to cool

Gas smells bad and makes a mess. Temperamental: you have to adjust the floats depending on weather, hot or cold. Electric pros: very easy to work on; NOT messy. DON'T piss off neighbors, very stealthy. Cons: limited range; batteries require charging after each us. But BOTH are very fun to Bash. Lol. Bash on, brother! And enjoy the holiday!❤️🤪💯💥👍🚘🌩🌩

Electric for sure! I love the 2-stroke and I also love Nitro cars, but the electric is just so much more practical for a EDB (Every Day Basher) Untill I repair my burned down XRT and fix both my broken xmaxx's I think Ill have to wait a bit on another 1/5, but WHEN I do get one I shall follow your most current advice on the Max5 or something comparable. electric is way better than gas.
20 minute run times, lipos burning up and going bad, not to mention escs overheating and blowing up or motors… the cons of electric are staggering in my opinion. As a heavy user of both platforms I can tell you that my gas rigs run all day, they have very little maintenance, they are way more fun to drive, they cost way less to maintain, and I get about 5 times the amount of use daily. The only thing electric wins in is bash-ability in my opinion. Other than that Gas is the winner all day for me. 💯🚀🏆🏆🏆
