The most crucial part of the marking is to settle the base point. From that base point a base line is created with a thread to settle the second point.
For marking, 3-4-5 method is very vital to lay out a perfect angle from a specific point on the base line. The method is presented with the following formula:-
Square Roof (L2 + B2)
From the first point, the mark is created for 4 feet and fixed the for the second point. From that point a mark is created for 5 feet and an arc is marked. Now, the point has been changed to first point and a measurement is created for 3 feet and an arc is marked. Now a point is settled at the intersection point of both the arcs.
Now, from the first point a thread has been laid with an approx. measurement via the intersection point of both the arcs and the third point is settled. So, a L shaped is developed for marking.
Now the intersection point for both the arcs has been eliminated. Again from the first point, a measurement is taken for 10 feet with a measuring tape and point is fixed. From that point another measurement is taken for 10 feet. So, total measuring area becomes 20 feet.
Again from the first point a measurement is taken for 12 feet and a point is fixed. From this point a measurement is taken for 20 feet and a point is fixed. Again the measuring tape has been tilted and the point has been fixed. So, complete measurements become 32 feet.
There are numerous ways to mark out a foundation, the 2 methods I would use are:
Total station.
Measuring tape and string line.
A total station is a great tool but the house is basically 3 rectangles so it is a much faster and a cost-effective way for us to use measuring tape and the string line.
Strip Foundation Size.
Important factors to consider before digging a strip foundation:
Insulation size in wall
Wall Width
Ground conditions
Our wall make up is:
100mm internal wall
100mm full fill cavity insulation
100mm external wall
This leaves us with a standard size wall off 300mm wide.
General rule of thumb when digging a strip foundation is that the foundation is 3 times the size of the walls width, this means our strip foundations are going to be 900mm wide by 300mm deep (NOTE THIS WAS SPECIFIED BY OUR ENGINEER).
How to Build a Concrete Foundation.
A concrete foundation is a base for a structure. The type and size of concrete foundation you will need is based on the structure you will place upon it. You may need a concrete foundation for a fountain, or your patio furniture, or even for an air conditioner unit.
Choose the type of foundation to build. The type of foundation depends on the area of the foundation will be located on and the type of structure that will be placed on it.
Shallow foundations are built on level ground and hard surfaces. Shallow foundations are no more than 3 feet (91.44 cm) deep and are used primarily for smaller, simpler projects like holding patio furniture, a fountain, or an air conditioning unit.

После того, как участок очищен от, различного рода мусора, травы и других объектов, мешающих строительству дома, начинается первый и очень важный этап постройки - разметка фундамента.
Естественно, от разметки ни в коем случае не зависит прочность и надежность Вашего дома, но от ее точности зависят правильные углы, симметричность, длина стен, и даже будущая планировка внутри дома.
Научившись правильно размечать стены будущего дома своими руками, Вы не только сэкономите немного бюджета, но и сможете потом внести какие-то коррективы. Потому что, проект на бумаге - это одно, а когда увидите воочию, как и где в будущем доме будут расположены стены, возможно захотите что-то исправить.
Разметка фундамента под дом с прямыми углами
Начнем, пожалуй, с самого простого - разметки дома прямоугольной формы. Тем более что даже дома со сложной планировкой, но с прямыми углами, основываются на этом методе.
Начинается разметка любого по форме дома с определения его местоположения на строительном участке.
Начнем с самого простого примера, когда участок, как и дом, имеет прямоугольную форму. Не имея специальных, дорогостоящих инструментов под рукой, на мой взгляд, самый простой способ произвести разметку фундамента будет следующий:
Определяем местоположение будущего дома на участке, в нашем случае это правый нижний угол.
Выбираем две самые близлежащие границы участка (в нашем случае, это границы, обозначенные на схеме выше - черным цветом).
Выставляем первые 4 колышка обозначенные цифрами 1-4, в соответствии с отступами от границ участка и натягиваем между ними, как показано черным пунктиром, шнуры. Таким образом, мы нашли один угол нашего дома.
Затем от колышка №2 замеряем длину, равную длине стены BD, и выставляем колышек №6. Аналогично выставляем колышек №8.
От колышка №3, вдоль нижней границы участка, отмеряем длину стены CD, и выставляем колышек №7. Аналогично выставляем колышек №5.
Натягиваем шнуры, как показано на схеме черным пунктиром, получившиеся углы и будут углами дома.
Проверяем, на сколько правильный получился у нас прямоугольник, методом, описанным ниже.
Стоит отметить, что очень часто бывает так, что участок имеет не прямоугольную форму, тогда необходимо отталкиваться не от двух сторон участка, а только лишь от какой-нибудь одной, натянув лишь один шнур, параллельно ей. Остальные шнуры натягиваются «на глаз», исправляя затем ошибки, как описано далее.
Проверка диагоналей и исправление ошибок разметки фундамента
Если Вы все сделали правильно, то расстояние от точки A до точки D, должно быть равно расстоянию от точки B до точки C. Другими словами - диагонали прямоугольника должны быть равны.
