After spending years being disappointed with COD and getting increasingly burnt out with "gaming", I took a break and decided to start playing other genres of games. I replayed Fable 1-3, played the campaign of Redfall, and weaved in between these games, I spent a week on Forza 4 and another week on Forza 5. Most recently, I finally returned to Elden Ring and beat the first boss thanks to skills/understanding acquired from beating Fallen Order and Fenyx Rising! (I used to hate these perfect parry/dodge style games, but now I want to play Sekiro, Shadow of War, etc.). However, whilst going through my Game Pass, I noticed that this game + expansion was on sale for $9! So, I started playing just yesterday and the game is amazing! My rule of thumb is to spend one day of messing around with settings and learning movement/in-game mechanics by myself and then doing a dive on forums and videos! I enjoy and appreciate the effort put into your videos! You have videos for every level of player and I can't wait to start understanding the more complex ones! By the way, right before typing this comment, I found out you can shoot padlocks... I'm sad at myself. I thought you would find bolt cutters or something like in older Tom Clancy games!

I'm relatively new as I'm playing thru for the first time (currently doing the Black Tusk invaded missions). Some of this info I did not know, so thank you for the informative video. You earned my sub.
I am just going to say this I'm having a hard time making builds for heroic and legendary but I don't play them regularly because my builds are mostly for challenging because I like to play that way but should I play more on heroic to get better builds or can I just use the builds I have for challenging I need advice because I am making a bleed shotgun build with 3 pc tip of the spear and ridgeways pride and 2 pc hunters fury for shotgun damage I currently have 1.8 million on my shotgun that what it says anyway but also trying to stay away from the exotic scorpio by using the m870 and tact 90 shotguns for a slower but harder hits
Even if you got the year 1 pass to unlock the specialization it only does that unlock the weapon you still need to do the challenges to get the bps. It doesn't auto complete the challenges.
Great, though I am still confused about the Exoctics. When you re-roll the stats and/or does it upgrade them somehow? There were projects before in that we had to re-roll the Scorpio for instance...? Am I missing something to that? Was hoping you might talk about that. Either way a good video to go over.
So, you can "Reconfigure" Exotics at the crafting station. This does not guarantee an upgrade, as it's basically a complete re-roll of the item. So, if you have low stats across the board, there's a good chance you'll get a net upgrade. If you have mostly good stats, however, you could see a downgrade. In general, if you have decent rolls, Optimizing the item is a better way to go

Ah the Send Off shotgun. EVERYONE ran that back in the day because it had a Holstered talent that was pretty OP. I can't remember what it was though...thinking it had something to do with skills...maybe damage to elites (yeah remember that existed?)...IDK? But they reworked that gun then no one even bothered with it.

Reconfiguration is a system only available for Exotic items. You can "recalibrate" a single attribute on high-end weapons and gear, and you can access that at the Recalibration bench beside the Crafting table.
I have the year 1 pass bundle, but it still says I have to do the field research. When I press the X button to access premium content. It says I've bought it bit there isn't an option to do research with my bundle. What am I doing wrong? Does the year one bundle only work with sharpshooter, demolitionist?
So, the Year 1 pass does not complete the Field Research for you. All it does is unlock the Gunner, Technician, and Firewall Specs to be used instantly WITHOUT having to go through all of the Field Research. Anyone who wants the other rewards that are a part of the Field Research, however, including the Named Item Blueprints, still needs to manually do the Field Research.

Helpfull? Yes, that is! I only have currently 1038 playing hours, and I am already a decently high level 700 something. Knowing how to play and other useful tips from other players as yourself is beneficial, thanx, I do enjoy your content n the Division. Someone created a Gearset I am running using Hardline, Momento, and Backfire. It is great for farming in Countdown. I do a lot of that for the materials and creating a new gearset. The hunters ignore me for added Elite Protection. Some I can kill easier with the Sheild with the Exotic Gloves for that.
Different factions drop different materials black tusk drop titanium and so on. Basically just farming the map in the zones you need material from works pretty fast, it takes a while to get the materials but you can farm up them craft then repeat.
@JD-hm2wo Depends on which category you're going after. The faction-based ones drop from tackling content featuring that specific faction. Gear and weapon based ones drop from deconstructing those specific items. SHD Calibration and Field Recon data drop from a variety of activities, my personal favorite methods are Countdown for Calibration, and DZ Landmarks for Field Recon Data 👍
@RogueGold you can also craft ShD optimization, faction mats and FRD from green, blue, and/or filaments. SHD calibrations aren't really worth it to craft (500 each blue mat for 5) but FRD are (just 50 of each green for 5). Levels (above shd 1000) or countdown (the chests give SHD calibrations) are the best source.
I have crafted gear pieces weaves...reciever components and SHD points many times and i'm not an old or day 1 division 2 player...i start playing div 1 last summer till mid October when i finished every mission and then jumped to div 2 since..already played 49days and 20hr total grinding my way up in the game...i'm almost at expertise level 11 already but wasn't aware of that system for like the first 3 months playing it and took me a couple of days to learn it after i discovered what the ranks of the gear and weapons was for..i have unlock most of the blueprints but i notice some things are rewards given in past season i can't play now so theres no way to unlock those nowadays i guess.
Still don't understand after the addition of optimization and prior the addition of expertise mode why you couldn't (and still can't) craft exotics, what is the point of Exotic blueprints and Exotic components?
Exotic components are used more widely now in Expertise upgrades, but the Exotic blueprints in the crafting station exist for Reconfiguration, which is their equivalent to Recalibration
@RogueGold Right, that's what I'm saying, now that both systems are in place Exotic Blueprints and recalibration is useless so why not let us use Blueprint + Weapon + Exotic component to Create Exotic weapons? I do have a question that I'm hoping you or someone on here could help me with. As I stated in another comment, I'm currently playing thru the Black Tusk invaded missions and I'm at gear score 289. When playing over the weekend, for some reason every loot drop I find or even when I craft something, it's always below my gear score. Is this a bug or perhaps something I'm doing incorrectly.
Is there an option for you to progress to the next world tier? To my recollection each World Tier (1-5) has a gear score cap for the items it will drop
I’m on XBox, just hit 1000 so I started a new character. Is there a bug or something that’s hindering me from being able to switch out my sidearm? It refuses to switch. It’s really annoying….. thanks for your input.
I haven't heard of anything like that. What do you have equipped and what are you trying to switch to? If you have an Exotic primary/secondary equipped and you're trying to switch to an Exotic sidearm, then it won't let you do that as you can only have 1 Exotic equipped. Also the 6 Specialization sidearms can only be used while that specific Specialization is activated, so if you're trying to switch to one of those without the proper Spec on then it won't let you.

I have got so many Prophet revolvers and Relic Marksman Rifles (all season 11 rewards) already but blueprint is still locked to me and i have not seen that blueprint anywhere
The Year 1 pass gives instant unlock of Gunner, Technician, and Firewall, some exclusive cosmetic items, and access to the 8 Classified Assignment missions in the game
I can't recall off the top of my head if you can craft a Golan Backpack, but if you don't see it in there than likely no. True Patriot you cannot craft. Both should be relatively easy to get by playing Countdown and using Targeted Loot, though!
@RogueGold Yeah everything is easy to farm, but the blueprint for everything should be available seeing that it was offered on the wony expansion pack that we paid for,it's so many blueprints missing if people just rather craft than farm!

I wonder if you or anyone can help me, I am trying to get Belstone on my level 30 character crafting station, I have it on my level 40 character but even though I have shared my level 30 character blueprints etc, I don't have the Belstone there to craft. I want to make a armour regen build for farming Exo components in the dz.... It must be possible as a friend of mine has the Belstone in the level 30 bracket crafting station, any ideas, Thanks guys
I'm not sure how your friend might have gotten it, but Blestone was introduced via Seasons, which is a WONY DLC and Level 40 exclusive type of content. So it's not available to Level 30 characters
@@RogueGold there's something going on then, as a friend has the Belstone blueprint (not sure how he got it, it was just there to craft) and I see players in the level 30 bracket Dz with Heartbreaker gearset, St Elmo's exotic, full optimised builds.
Mods are some of the hardest things to get in the game well-rolled since you can't modify them via Recal or Optimization. Best bet you have is playing Targeted Mod content on the highest difficulty you can!
Please talk about the missing blue prints... I have 367 as u.. of 373 possible... And those are the new ones that there's no way available to get the... Don't know why?...
The two things that come to mind are if you missed any past Seasons then you can no longer get the new gear blueprints they came with, or if you haven't unlocked any of the base game blueprints then you need to run some Tier 4 Control Points to unlock the rest

Resource convoy is the best bet for you if you want resources. I believe black tusk for titanium filaments etc. Hyena for ceramic etc. True sons i forgot xD.
To combine a Honey Badger assault rifle with Perfectly Close & Personal (aka Savage Wolverine) doesn't make sense. The Honey Badger is a long range assault rifle. It's Accuracy and Stability make it one of the best assault rifles for this task. It is also the reason why I prefer it over the Kingbreaker. The Kingbreaker fires too slow and is inaccurate and unstable for long distance shooting. The Honey Badger combined with 10% DMG to targets out of cover, Flatline talent and it's 790rpm, in my opinion make it one of the top assault rifles in the game. The obvious choice for Perfectly Close & Personal would be a shotgun or a sub-machine gun.
@@RogueGold I agree that the Savage Wolverine is lethal, but I'd rather have Perfectly Close & Personal on a Vector. Combine a weapon like that with a Hunter's Fury build (enemies within 15m receive a debuff increasing weapon damage by 20%) would be awesome.

Yeah Reconfiguration is a gamble since it can go up or down. For future reference, Optimization is the best path to take when something is close to maxed out 👍
To be perfectly honest most of those additional items are pretty trash - especially the improvised gear as many brand bonuses are as strong or stronger than mods - especially when it comes to crit or skill efficiency. Protection From Elites is the one exception as you cannot roll for that however once again, you are probably better server taking advantage of set bonuses anyway especially if you have the Ninjabike. The D Sleipnir is pretty cool having double range on a shotty just too bad it's not an 870 or even a double barrel, the two types that could use it most as they have the highest damage per shot. I just wish there was a better way to rack up Steel, it's the one material I struggle to keep stock of.

Reconfiguring exotics that have low rolls as opposed to optimizing is a good tip as well IMO
Improvised pieces work well in the Dz because sometimes they negate all DMG recieved.

You get the most Armor Regen by having the most amount of % based increases on your gear as possible. Like 3 Foundry, 1 Belstone, etc.

Yeah there is currently no way to obtain old Seasonal blueprints I'm afraid.

When playing over the weekend, for some reason every loot drop I find or even when I craft something, it's always below my gear score. Is this a bug or perhaps something I'm doing incorrectly.
Just don't care . Later in game you don't need this. Just play the missions , you won' t need special equip or high level items
Is there an option for you to progress to the next world tier? To my recollection each World Tier (1-5) has a gear score cap for the items it will drop

Welcome back! Unfortunately there currently is no way to obtain old Seasonal blueprints.

I’m on XBox, just hit 1000 so I started a new character. Is there a bug or something that’s hindering me from being able to switch out my sidearm? It refuses to switch. It’s really annoying….. thanks for your input.
I haven't heard of anything like that. What do you have equipped and what are you trying to switch to? If you have an Exotic primary/secondary equipped and you're trying to switch to an Exotic sidearm, then it won't let you do that as you can only have 1 Exotic equipped. Also the 6 Specialization sidearms can only be used while that specific Specialization is activated, so if you're trying to switch to one of those without the proper Spec on then it won't let you.
@@RogueGold I have a level 30 purple side arm I’m trying to switch to a normal level 40 gold. I don’t believe they are the specialty sidearms. I’ll look. Thanks. (Guess they were specialized. Thanks!)

I have got so many Prophet revolvers and Relic Marksman Rifles (all season 11 rewards) already but blueprint is still locked to me and i have not seen that blueprint anywhere
Did you check Inaya's inventory, beside the crafting bench?
It's still bugged and not fixed. They were both on the season track but were never granted and they are still locked. Don't hold your breath.
I'm level 600 and dont unlock all the specializations. Only the minigun. It's the only think thing the year 1 pass gives?
The Year 1 pass gives instant unlock of Gunner, Technician, and Firewall, some exclusive cosmetic items, and access to the 8 Classified Assignment missions in the game

I can't recall off the top of my head if you can craft a Golan Backpack, but if you don't see it in there than likely no. True Patriot you cannot craft. Both should be relatively easy to get by playing Countdown and using Targeted Loot, though!
@RogueGold Yeah everything is easy to farm, but the blueprint for everything should be available seeing that it was offered on the wony expansion pack that we paid for,it's so many blueprints missing if people just rather craft than farm!
By farming the needed materials and craft a good one it might be faster to farm the piece directly. You always have to farm

I wonder if you or anyone can help me, I am trying to get Belstone on my level 30 character crafting station, I have it on my level 40 character but even though I have shared my level 30 character blueprints etc, I don't have the Belstone there to craft. I want to make a armour regen build for farming Exo components in the dz.... It must be possible as a friend of mine has the Belstone in the level 30 bracket crafting station, any ideas,

I'm not sure how your friend might have gotten it, but Blestone was introduced via Seasons, which is a WONY DLC and Level 40 exclusive type of content. So it's not available to Level 30 characters
@@RogueGold there's something going on then, as a friend has the Belstone blueprint (not sure how he got it, it was just there to craft) and I see players in the level 30 bracket Dz with Heartbreaker gearset, St Elmo's exotic, full optimised builds.

Best use is PfE heavy builds.
The optimization bundles will take you forever to get. The best one is the true sons bundle but all of them have their uses.
How do I get max roll mods? Just came back after 1400 days.
Mods are some of the hardest things to get in the game well-rolled since you can't modify them via Recal or Optimization. Best bet you have is playing Targeted Mod content on the highest difficulty you can!

Please talk about the missing blue prints... I have 367 as u.. of 373 possible... And those are the new ones that there's no way available to get the... Don't know why?...
The two things that come to mind are if you missed any past Seasons then you can no longer get the new gear blueprints they came with, or if you haven't unlocked any of the base game blueprints then you need to run some Tier 4 Control Points to unlock the rest

@@Axio75 brother we good and you didn’t bother no one sorry if I word it wrong but what I was trying to say is that him KVD can’t check for you. If anything like you said we will have to check ourselves to see what is missing and the crafting station does say a set # out of the blueprints

Resource convoy is the best bet for you if you want resources. I believe black tusk for titanium filaments etc. Hyena for ceramic etc. True sons i forgot xD.

To combine a Honey Badger assault rifle with Perfectly Close & Personal (aka Savage Wolverine) doesn't make sense. The Honey Badger is a long range assault rifle. It's Accuracy and Stability make it one of the best assault rifles for this task. It is also the reason why I prefer it over the Kingbreaker. The Kingbreaker fires too slow and is inaccurate and unstable for long distance shooting. The Honey Badger combined with 10% DMG to targets out of cover, Flatline talent and it's 790rpm, in my opinion make it one of the top assault rifles in the game. The obvious choice for Perfectly Close & Personal would be a shotgun or a sub-machine gun.
The Savage can be super lethal with the right builds! Honey Badger is definitely one of the best 👍
@@RogueGold I agree that the Savage Wolverine is lethal, but I'd rather have Perfectly Close & Personal on a Vector. Combine a weapon like that with a Hunter's Fury build (enemies within 15m receive a debuff increasing weapon damage by 20%) would be awesome.
I really need a build that is very forgiven, when it comes to minor mistakes and minor brain farts.

Yeah Reconfiguration is a gamble since it can go up or down. For future reference, Optimization is the best path to take when something is close to maxed out 👍

Putting Armor Cores onto your gear is the best way to directly increase survivability!
Just play tech until you reach the 1000😂 easy
To be perfectly honest most of those additional items are pretty trash - especially the improvised gear as many brand bonuses are as strong or stronger than mods - especially when it comes to crit or skill efficiency.
Protection From Elites is the one exception as you cannot roll for that however once again, you are probably better server taking advantage of set bonuses anyway especially if you have the Ninjabike. The D Sleipnir is pretty cool having double range on a shotty just too bad it's not an 870 or even a double barrel, the two types that could use it most as they have the highest damage per shot.
I just wish there was a better way to rack up Steel, it's the one material I struggle to keep stock of.

I believe so, yes, since you're basically creating a new copy of the Exotic.
