You probably know already but the drone regulation in most of Europe is crazy, especially on long range.
My advice; just do it, but don't brag about it until you get home lol.

Make sure you look into local drone and filming laws to make sure you don’t get in trouble! Germany in particular is very strict where quads and filming in public are concerned.

Hi, I am so excited to see good fpv shots of the alps. But be careful with the European drown law. If i recall correctly, your drone is classified as open A3 which means that there cannot be other people around and you have to keep 150m distance to private property, which includes stuff like streets i think. The drone (or the remote?) must be registered, insured, and you can only fly so far away that you could return and land it line of sight. A spotter and some other stuff is also necessary. Also, it is quite common to get fines based on youtube videos where they spot a breech of those rules.
Other than that, I wish you a great time in europe!
Also, the maximum flight height is 120m above ground. So if you dive anything or film the alps, you will get a fine for that.

You really should’ve not skipped Poland in your trip. It’s absolutely amazing. Beaches, forests, lakes, mountains, castles, old towns, modern cities, stunning countrysides, they got it all. I went there once and ended up visiting 4 times in 2 years lol. They also have very straight forward and soft fpv laws.

Switzerland is awesome but they had some nasty floods and landslides. Our camping spot got cancelled because of that. Annecy in France is now our destination. Beautiful lake and mountainy area. 45min drive from Chamonix (mont blanc) Btw skip Amsterdam, not worth it fpv-wise. (Whole area CTR no flying area)

I recently bought the Goggles 2 & I am not really liking them that much. Aside from the fact that I can barely see the entire screen without the edges being cut off, the range & penetration is garbage compared to what I get with the V2 goggles. I have the patch & stubby antennas on the V2, but even with the stock antennas I get better range & penetration with both Vista units & my one o3 air unit. I remember you saying something about getting rid of your Goggles 2. I don't recall why, but I know why I'm not liking them. The size & weight is great. The speed at which they start up is great. I have nothing else to good to say about them.
I am still rocking my V2 OG goggles (the ones that came with DJI FPV drone). They work great with added 3rd party foam and stubby antennas. I will buy the latest ones but only when they release firmware for compatibilty with O3 since I have 2 ELRS drones with O3. I think they are gonna be good ergonomic wise and hopefully we get better range/pen. Anyone knows when that firmware drops? I really don't get why that was not included since day one with the Avata 2 release. I think a bunch of people would buy the goggles if it supported O3. Decent amount of people still on V2 goggles because the Goggles 2 got a bunch of bad revievs. I tried them on my friends drone and they were hot garbage in terms of form factor. xD
@@janmajnik6889 I just did another test flying around a church. The V2 & vista went around a church 5 feet off the ground & only got down to 42mbs from the 50mbs it transmits. The G2 goggles and the o3 air unit went from 50mbs to 18mbs flying the same path around the church. I don't know what's up with the G2 & o3 system.
The G2 works fine for me. With the old AU + G2 - 30 Km. O3 - 23.3 Km
@@hundronezone I bought my G2 goggles used off eBay. I'm begining to think I got ripped off by buying a broken set of goggles. I have better video with an analog Tinyhawk 2.
