Is really great to know your experience in that trip, I had some similar experiences working with FPV but in a smaller scale, If you want come to Argentina, I live in Cordoba and have another house in Ushuaia, you can stay here and film some EPIC stuff all around the country there is actually no restrictions here to fly FPV, there is a large FPV community here, and is cheap as F for you now lol

This is so stupid.. this whole story is about him freaking out that he wasnt given directions, like, that's not how it works when you're hired as a consultant of any kind. Especially in media, you're expected to go with the flow and produce at your own pace/own level and not need to be micromanaged or given directions. It applies to all areas of life.. same thing with most careers, if you're not just some entry level, junior employee youre not expected to need directions or instructions on what to do at work, you do what you think you should do because youre considered the expert.

Great story! I can only imagine the frustration, fear, and anxiety of that situation. I've long ago learned my lessons in getting sucked into situations by people who lie and manipulate to get meet their goals. This story has all of the classic signs of doing business with a malignant narcissist. They try too hard to dazzle you with overblown self importance, keep you isolated, and on the hook, while they try to keep the other 2/3 of their grift together. Then, when its falling apart, they attack you for pushing back against their control. Now here's the thing about those kind of people. From their point of view, you have been almost criminally disloyal, and they dont forget. This man isn't done with you yet. It might be weeks, months, or years, but when he sees his opportunity to hurt you, he wont be able to help himself. They stew on these transgressions, as if they were a personal attack on them, because realizing , and accepting, that it was a failure on their part, is not how they are wired. They fantasize about revenge, and convince themselves of the viability of the ridiculous scenarios they've played out in their heads, and they act on them.
    I've dealt with this.
    Its exhausting.
So, I hope you'll be more selective with your choices in partnerships in the future. This one could have ended worse.
Good luck! I enjoy your videos. Keep them coming. 😊

I'm so glad you went by your instincts when you found yourself alone on that first trek to base camp one, and turned around and came back down again before reaching it. Many wouldn't have, though it sounds like the most obvious, sensible thing to do in the context of the rest of your climb right at that time. It just shows the very intensive wisdom and listening to your own survival instinct over the foolishness of the summit pushers who drain their personal tanks dry in their egoistic drive to summit, disregarding the amount of muscle energy and muscle oxygen that's absolutely mandatory for the trip down off the mountain.
Edit: Those side-stories about having the stomach issues due to adapting to a poorer diet and the new environment of human waste is actually a lot to suffer through, with weight and strength loss, not to mention fatigue and depression at the uncertainty of future direction. Those bosses of yours were really taking full advantage of you in every way possible.
    - A KIDNEY STONE!? You really did go the ninth extra mile for that assignment, mate. The fact that
you weren't compensated or reimbursed properly for any of it absolutely stinks!😮

Sounds like you had a very similar experience to many others who are equally as afraid to deadname the 'guy' for fear of being sued. What's the name of the podcast?

I think if people do a serious deep dive investigation to gain knowledge of the reality of the real dangerous situations of going to that area & the importance of getting fit & healthy & organise the essential medication & supplements & equipment needed before going, you must know there is very serious risk involved, you must be prepared so your health isn't badly affected, hundreds of body's are left up there, many people die each year, many ignore the warnings they are given,

Tough Ass mother. Never knew your German. German American is is something to behold😅. Mexican/American approved; this Vato can fly underneath pressure from the uninitiated and domineering half a world away.PROPS FOR A TRUE PROPELLER OF THE CRAFT WITH PROPER PITCH IN THE FACE OF NAIVE NAYSAYERS. Well, you had your live and learn moment and certainly you’ll be more skeptical about doing something like that again.
Thank you for sharing your experience, it was definitely interesting and even inspiring.
