in my opinion, cyberdemon stomping sounds like hellish heartbeat. it is one of the most menacing voices, ever created by man.
In childhood it was one of scariest things in da world.
@@Vordikk same here. one of the most menacing sounds there are
Wait a minute...
Cyberpunk is map 27. Cyberpunk 2077 comes out in a few months supposedly.
COINCIDENCE? Absolutely.

🤫 I'm confused
and hell revealed came out in 1997 if that means anything too
True true mate you've got a good conspiracy there
In 1997
One interesting thing happened to me while playing this level today. I was killing the archviles by shooting rockets from outside the room, when suddenly one of them started casting its flame attack on me. I failed to take cover in time, and it somehow zapped me into one of the cyberdemons' alcoves, where I couldn't escape from so I had to noclip out :P
Killing a cyber with the SSG is tedious, but Memento Mori taught me pretty well how to do it. Map 28 in particular where this is the best weapon to use against all three. (Try beating it from pistol with no saves, I can't do that... At least yet.) Also I sometimes prefer the plasma rifle in front of the BFG for them because I'm more certain I'll do the damage required with it. I use the BFG for priority enemies like pain elementals and arch-viles usually or for big clusters of enemies if I have it. Sometimes I use it on pesky mancubi as well if I must kill them quickly.
9:02 Oh god. You wasted that BFG shot on a baron instead using it for the Spider Mastermind xD
Wait, oversized barons?
Does this mean they're really big imps?!
After Map26: Afterlife, the remainder of Hell Revealed offers mildly challenging maps while throwing in the last bunch of cyberdemons to face, and this is quite a welcome and fun map. The only annoying thing about the map is the imps that spawn, because they're placed in a box while the teleporters to their spawn points are situated in a way that it would take forever for all of them to spawn in due to the monster AI, a design trope plenty of early era Doom wads are infamous for. Otherwise it's a straightforward and chill map, despite having a handful of cyberdemons. Thankfully, there are only three on HMP and one on ITYTD/HNTR, as more than half of the cyberdemons that teleport into the maze are barons on HMP, while they're all barons on the lower difficulties. Speaking of the maze, that section makes this map like Plutonia's Hunted, but with cyberdemons/barons instead of arch-viles, and the tech theme of the map gives it a TNT vibe, so I like this map a lot, applying aspects of the Final Doom duology. Love the comeback of the Rise of the Triad music, and while the creators label the difficulty as hard, I consider it more to be a medium map, especially with the efficient ammo needed, including getting the BFG.
A cyberdemon remake of map11 from plutonia (hunted) except vile are replace by cybie. Plutonia created of lot of map style and gimmick who will be retake by a lot of megawad. For exemple map 24 from HR.
So far, this and Afterlife are the only levels I've really liked in terms of level design and enemy placement. The rest seem so weird to me. This was a good one though.
you're really good at this game!
Damn, Decino, you played Cyberpunk before it has been released! I must say, Adam Smasher and his copies looks really cool with that cybernetic leg implants and UACaka rocket launchers.
As usual, additional respect for every Mooha-boy you've tagged and bagged. And for "oversized barons" too.
I wonder, how unaugmented Cyb should look and behave. From what I've heard so far, some mobile Wolfenstein game have one as a final boss named "Harbinger of Doom", but I never played that game.
2:48 this one walked a bit. Imagine he would've shot you before teleport :D
Mowing down the imps at the end was the best part.
When you realize Cyberpunk 27 is better than Cyberpunk 2077:
_looks at Gaming Industry_
"It's evolving, just backwards"
Man these maps looks insane..I wanna play some wads so very bad..don’t have a laptop or desktop so that’s literally like a cyberdemon rocket to the face ..it ain’t happening lol..I do play doom 1 & 2 but these maps looks way funer
i really enjoy your playtroughs, more and more, day by day. am i in love ?
I see why you don’t pick up the partial invisibility..it makes the demons projectiles go all crazy and hard to dodge
Story contd: You returned from the astral plane but in the enemy communications nexus. They know you came the long way. The big boyz are waitin to send you back. Don't let them.
Even though it is marked as hard, this level is still doable on uv. First time I did it without a bfg (missed the secret). This level is perfect to test your cyber counter skills. One of my favourites from HR.
I Love this game
Cyberpunk 2077 will be worth playing for me if it's got a Cyber in it.
Almost.
Brilliant
My method of killing Cybers with the BFG is this:
Fire a BFG when he shoots a 1st rocket, that way you can avoid a case of eating a rocket when Cyber shoots a 2nd set immediately after the 1st set of rockets.
i lured the last cyberdemon to fight and lose to spidermastermind when i played this map as a kid. :D
with cheats. but hey it was fun as heck
greetings everyone and welcome to my 100% walkthrough of cyberpunk 2077
Only if those imps weren't spammed. Fun map overall.
For some reason the cyberdemon maze section looks like the inside of a store to me
HALLELUJAH

i believe a group of archviles is called a "annoyance of archviles. " it might also be called a "please no" of archviles.
Wait why does partial invisibility make it harder to fight the cyberdemons
Makes rockets harder to dodge because of the random trajectories.
5:21 KILL KILL KILL
4:04 Why not use partial invisibility vs Cyberdemons?
Why would you want the cyberdemons to shoot in random directions? its much easier to dodge if they target always directly at you.
The invisibility is almost like the monsters try to predict your movement^^
The invisibility is perfect for hitscan and bite attacks though.
One year comment but long story short - it's a death sentence for such case as projectile based attacks from monsters in random directions.
Cuz if you're partially invisible, cyberdemons go mad shooting every possible direction you're gonna move at (they just randomly kaboom everywhere around you). So you can't predict and dodge them. So basically that serves as a suicide.
WAIT WHAT? there is a SSG in this map WTF
Have you played Brutal Doom? And if you did, opinion?
I played it a few times back in 2012. I'm a bit of a purist, so I'm not too fond of mods that change the monster/weapon balance vanilla Doom has. I do still follow the dev blog, though.
@@decino oh man thats a long time and god damn have there been a lot of updates.
But being a purist is nice, i mostly play vanilla.
I prefer Project Brutality. Same mod, but with many, many more monsters and many really cool weapons.
Where do the cybers keep all those rockets?
what was that damage you received at 6:27. only 1 health and 1 armor. is that the lowest amount of damage from a cyberdemon?
Yup.
@@decino lucky you:)
No Keanu Reeves? :-(
No glitches either:)
Oh cmon maan. Ssg is better than chaingun...yeah some wads wants you to kill spidy with chaingun.
I had the 666th like... my life is complete
oversized barons lmao
Too many imps
that were not many actually ^^
