The funny thing is, the whole face thing is just a shitpost that went too far. No matter what it would never happen, I just egg on the viewers to give them false hope to keep their interest. To me it was a silly advertising thing, but it's funny to see how prominent that is in this video. I guess it worked.

One thing is for sure though: I would not have started playing BeamNG, let alone create a Beam-related RUclips channel.
If you're seeing this YBR, I just want to say thank you for all those memories, for introducing me into BeamNG and being one of the main reasons I started my channel. 🙌
And also thank you Bio for this great video, I definitely learned something new ;)

I agree bro/sister. :) YBR introduced me to BeamNG back in 2018-19, and it was cool stuff, as the game simulated cars and crash physics (cos science is cool bro). I do not run BeamNG myself, but he got me into CarPal & Muye, another set of Beamtubers. I guess you are a BeamNG guy also, so I'll check out your channel.
Edit: I am glad that YBR went to college, and hope/pray for his success or wellbeing. That is much more important than running a YT channel, and I can wait a few years until he uploads again.

Finally, an in-depth documentary on a legend. BeamNG would not be where it is today without him. I first found YBR in early 2015, and he first introduced me to BeamNG. To be honest, I was like 9 or 10 and was looking for car crash videos. Back then on RUclips, if you search car crashes or any variation of that, it would be irl car crashes, so getting a BeamNG video by YBR in my recommended was a blessing. It's sad how RUclips screwed him over with the demonetization and could not recover financially from it, forcing him to quit and find a real job.
I'm honestly glad he's doing well in life. YBR was not appreciated as he should of been, the seamless editing that no one notices, the amount of research going into his mod reviews, and with his BeamNG update videos. There is still no other youtuber that can do a proper update video that goes in-depth with every change. I specifically waited for his update video to come out, before I owned the game and he just did the videos better than anyone else. It is sad that he eventually started to hate his job because of kids only wanting to see car crashes like all the other youtubers. Hopefully when he returns, he starts to make content he enjoys doing whether it's BeamNG or not.

Maybe it's the human aspect to it and how he always interacted with his fans, or maybe how he's one of the RUclipsrs who helped put on BeamNG on the map.

He went into every last detail of BeamNG, which I loved since I'm very detail oriented, and there hasnt been anyone whose made the same type of content since. Through those videos and once I finally got a capable gaming laptop and later built a PC, I learned so much about cars that I now apply working on and driving my real cars that I now own.

I watched not only his BeamNG videos, but also some other games he played, like INFRA, Driver: San Francisco and Next Car Game, later renamed to Wreckfest. It's really sad what RUclips did to him and equally as sad that his attempts to move into being a variety gaming channel failed as his personality, or persona, is very addictive to watch

YBR is the reason BeamNG is popular. I think BeamNG needs to hire him as a media director or something

I truley wish him the best. One of my favorite youtube series was his Infra playthrough. I found him for beamng, and that is my favorite game ever since 2013, but it was clear he started getting sick of it. I hope if he ever comes back full time he can really get out there doing more of what he wants.

I'm not going to sit here and lie saying how I've watched a bunch of WhyBeAre's videos, but I do remember having a good amount of videos of his that I'd watch back to back just out of the sheer enjoyment they provided. I remember watching videos like the Cement demo derby vid and just loving it. I don't have Beamng myself or a pc to play it on, yet his videos have caused me to stay connected with the Beamng community and its updates. I also remember how I even used to watch some of his videos on other games like SLRR and a couple episodes of his Infra series.
Wherever he is now, I hope the absolute best for him.

First video I’ve ever watched by him is Baja Hills and I remember that day like it was YESTERDAY !!!that got me into racing games like CSR, Forza and Need for Speed and now after 8 years I finally have Beamng drive on my laptop and I could be happier (also I have 56 mods installed already😂😂)

I started watching YBR back in probably around 2015 or so. At some point, I kinda got burned out from his content where he would start some sort of time trial or challenge, but only commit half-heartedly to make it more likely to crash. The crash physics are amazing, but I realized I wanted to see more skilled driving, and ended up moving to the sim racing part of RUclips. That said, I still remember the time when I thoroughly enjoyed his content, and it's great that he's getting his life figured out.

Ybr got me into Beam, TABS, Cluster truck, Poly Bridge and more, he was my childhood. It’s so sad that he got dealt a shitty hand. I wish the best for him, and one day, he’ll return.

I started watching him during Covid, and he was the only reason I got through that, I must’ve watched every one of his videos. I even ended up buying beamng because of him, and I was devastated with how things turned out. I’m glad he’s going to school now and pursuing a career, I really respect that and hope he can succeed someday.

I started watching him around late 2013, early 2014, he was the first channel I found after discovering the existence of Rigs of Rods and then later BeamNG, this was back when my only source of internet was a Nintendo 3DS, his videos helped me through what I was going through at the time, up until he stopped uploading he was the only channel I'd come back to on the daily to see if there was a new video, I really liked the way he edited his videos, no one else on youtube purposely made the video look like it was all 1 take even though it actually wasn't

I started watching YBR in 2016. After a few months, I just stopped watching him for some reason. A year or 2 later, I rediscovered him, watching all of the videos that I had missed. I have seen every video from 2016. I never wanted to see a face reveal, I just wanted to watch him. He was my favorite youtuber, until discovering Dankpods a year ago. When he returns, I am sure he will return to my number one fav. He inspired me to create my own channel, though I don't use it much. The day the video came out saying that we had saved him, I was sick with covid, and it just made my day. When he said that he would indeed be coming back in a few years, my day went from a, on a scale of one to ten, -50 to 1000000000. His videos always make me happy, and I keep returning. His best series was, in my opinion, Infra. It was one of the few games he fully completed on his channel, and the only one to get a video several years later. I have always, and will always love his content. YBR, wherever you are, thank you for years of enjoyment.

When I watched that last video, it hit me when he asked if we really cared about him. I sat there for a bit thinking about all the years I’ve watched him. I really did enjoy watching others of his videos, and I liked beam the most, but I really just liked his funny commentary and his jokes and I loved his energy. It was awesome back in the good days when he was just happy and not being labeled as a terrorist. He’s literally everything but a terrorist. Even though I didn’t know him irl, I thought he was a good dude. I really miss him. The nostalgia hits lol.

back when I was 5, I saw his video about him doing this demo derby using some shoddily made joke mods, I loved his content and how he always managed to sound so upbeat and happy in his videos, it made him feel authentic and it had some charm to it. Sure there were other channels kind of like him, but the way he was just fucking around and finding out just made it all the more genuine to me imo. I'm 13 now, sure it isn't much, but considering I've been such a long-time fan; I can't help but smile seeing how people still know him even after his absence on youtube.
