When I look back at his scouting reports I think they are all pretty fair. Big arm, smart player, good leadership, takes chances and throws interceptions, unbelievable ceiling (the comparison to Favre was mentioned even then). I think his success is a testament to what a player can become when he lands in the right situation. Him being able to take a backup position for a year and be guided by one Alex Smith, playing in Andy Reid's offense, and being able to develop while being surrounded by talent. They made him into the best version of the draft projections. He is basically what he was in college, but without the interceptions.

He makes a good point, but unfortunately that also falls on the staff of that whack team. They have consistently had better teams on paper throughout some of the early to mid 2000's, yet still couldn't win games. So every year the staff chose to just blame the players and swap out for new "better" players until they find someone that takes it upon themselves to carry the dumpster fire up a landslide of a mountain they call Cleveland football. Just like they did better this past season, but mark my words, obj won't help as much as they think, the team will still be mediocre and then look elsewhere for talent to ruin. All that will end with simple staff personnel changes that actually know the game better than the trash they have been hiring throughout the years

The case being dropped doesn't mean shit to Goodell.
Ezekiel Elliott's case got dropped sometime after the cops found the girl sending text messages telling her friends to lie for her and to Elliott saying nobody would believe him because he's a black athlete. Goodell said "Fuck the police" and suspended him 6 games.
Charges were never even filed against Kareem Hunt to begin with but he still got slapped with an 8 game suspension . . . twice.

Why are we so intent on not trusting them?
