The. Chacha songs are very relaxing. Every morning when i wake up and rise from bed i immediately dance not. necessarily the chacha dance. but the chacha. tempo. Its now my usual exercise in the morning and even in the afternoon whenever i feel stretching my body. It worked for me i feel young.
If I were in your video since I love cha-cha so much, my favorite routines for the Basic and Advanced cha-cha would be... Beginner (Start in Closed Facing Position) Side step prep to Full Reverse Basic Movement (4-1, 2 3 4 and 1, 2 3 4 and 1) Half a Basic to Opening Out to Fan (2 3 4 and 1, 2 3 4 and 1) Hockey Stick (2 3 4 and 1 2 3 4 and 1) New Yorks R, L, and R (Lady L, R, and L) (2 3 4 and 1 2 3 4 and 1 2 3 4 and 1) Spot Turn to L (Lady R) (2 3 4 and 1) End Closed Facing Position regaining hold after the turns. Advanced (Start in Closed Facing Position) Half a Basic Into Overturned Crossbody Lead to L Fan (2 3 4 and 1 2 3 4 and 1) Alemana From Fan (2 3 4 and 1 2 3 4 and 1) Syncopated New Yorks R, L (Lady L, R), into Regular New Yorker to R (Lady L) (2 and 3, 4 and 1, 2 3 4 and 1) Aida to Hip Rocks and Pull-Back to Closed Facing Position (2 3 4 and 1 2 3 4 and 1) Guapacha Spot Turn into Side Chasse Finish (hold 2, and 3 4 and 1). End in L-R Open Facing Position
@@BallroomMasteryTV Keenly, since I danced both cha-cha styles, let me tell you that American cha-cha, especially at the social level, relies less on the locking actions of the so-called shuffle step, but International cha-cha relies more on locking actions on the shuffle step, and as you mentioned, there are a lot more chasse actions in that style. I also analyzed the Zig Zig Chasses you did in the Advanced Cha-Cha - I describe this as a turning chasse with the first two steps either closing up or in continuity, and the third step always ending with open. Reminds me of something you also see in Standard. (Yea - there are Zig Zags in Standard!)
A difficult one - the Follow My Leader (gold syllabus). I love how this step gets me into Open Man's Tandem Position (although this is roughly Man's Open R Shadow Position) and seems to snake around several times in a curve with me doing progressive cha-cha walks and triple locks until the figure comes to an end in Open Facing.
May I ask? What is the title of the music used in the advanced cha cha cha routine? Just for academic purpose. We are tasked to perform cha cha cha in our Physical Education-Rythmic Activities. Thank you!
OK - forward chasse, back chasse, side chasse, slip chasse, ronde chasse, (hip) twist chasse, regressive 3 cha-cha-cha chasse, progressive 3 cha-cha-cha chasse, compact chasse, and open chasse (also known as the "chasse run" - this is a continunity chasse with no closing of the feet - front open chasse, or back open chasse - and it happens especially in the cha-cha move "There and Back"). These are the 10 chasses I know in cha-cha.
Totally appreciate your dedication to dance and creating these online lessons...I know it takes works. Thank YOU!

With the beginning cha cha it’s different to what I learnt to do🙄
Beautiful. What’s the name of the song played during the basic steps in the beginning?
hopefully next time your new video I can see you teach in the reverse position

Is the advanced one American or international they do locks but are dancing to a American cha cha just wondering a little confused
This is International style Cha Cha Cha. ISTD technique.
Locks are a form of Chasse action and there are many Chasses in CCC.
