Heard a great episode of Australian Radio National's The Music Show with an interview for Gerry Smyth's new book Sailor Song: The Shanties and Ballads of the High Seas. Understandably he missed 'Wreck' as it came from an unexpected source - a progressive rock band. I believe he would rate it as many of us do - as an innovative musical masterpiece based on traditional forms.
