Saw them from the flight line at RAF Cottesmore (back when JFH was still there) when they were practicing for their upcoming season. My wife and I were mightily impressed at being able to see them from an unusually close angle, as were the rest of the station. And the backdrop to the final evening display here in this video was particularly fine. Well done, as usual!
The Red Arrows are nothing more than a pointless symbol of Britain’s past symbolic power. Britain was the first country to use concentration camps for civilians. Britain, over the last three hundred years enslaved millions, was the largest proponent of the slave trade and murdered, raped, stole and plundered to increase its world dominance and is guilty of ethnic cleansing and genocide. If you want more context on any of these points, just ask. But I doubt you will.
No surprise given the Hawk is from the nation that gave us the Spitfire, this aircraft is a delight to watch especially in the hands of such great artists.
