I think the saddest part of Passerine was of the insignificance of it all. For example, Niki and Tubbo were and are such amazing people, but it really shows how fleeting life is and how true talent isn't appreciated. Tubbo and Tommy never got to meet, and Niki died an undeserving death. If you think about it, Sapnap wasn't the enemy, and Dream wasn't either. The fact that they were put at the end really hammers home that point. Such a beautiful story and such a beautiful animation.

(It was before he got stuck btw, wilbur was trying to get his diamonds back from tommy since tommy was placing them around and tommy placed one in the nether and tommy hit him almost pushing him into the lava)

i’m not a sentimental man, but something keeps bringing me back here. i remember when this first came out, i remember the emotions it evoked. but the line between emotions from fiction and emotions of reality is a line better not crossed. it should be apparent to us all now that the man we see here and the man that he was created via are not the same. one is a monster, and the other is… what? nothing, now? a memory? i don’t know. I don’t have to know. i’m waxing poetic in a youtube comment section of a dead fandom.
Just because something is no longer with us, doesn’t meant the emotions and memories it gave us are gone too. These stories resonated with so many people because they told tales of love, trust, brotherhood and loyalty. They told the story of how to keep fighting when everything else seems hopeless. So maybe the actors in these tales are no longer with us. One taken from us far too soon, the other rightfully cast out for causing pain and hurt to those closest to them. But the tales stick with us. They stick with us because they were important, and the emotions they elicited were real. It’s ok to grieve a time when we came together and told each other these stories. Take care ❤

Passerine Niki too, like holy shit she was such a minor character but had such a big impact. She made me start crying and sobbing and the interaction she had where she gave Tubbo her axe just broke me and made me cry rivers.
Fun fact: the author of Passerine said on Twitter that at the time she didn't know what mumza's boundaries were on fanfics, so she wrote her as the Samsung smart fridge (which is also why she's never mentioned by name)
I remember when this story and the server were once my whole world. It was what I used to get myself through the rough teenage years. Now I'm an adult, with less than 2 months before I'm in my 20's, and my world has moved on. But every now and then, I get a familiar urge. The urge to come back and reexperience the emotions that once ruled my life. Even though everything outside of this has changed, the creators, the community, myself, this will forever be a constant we can review to remember how our lives once were.
i’m really just not satisfied with the ending- so tommy remains dead, they accept that yes that’s fine. but what about philza? do they accept that he will never come back or are they still hoping? im guessing that they die (techno and wilbur) and one day, philza breaks out when they are long gone. since there is not part 2 i’m pretty sure that’s what happened. i think what i really wished for was a happily ever after.

Niki saves tubbo, then she goes to the cave I think it was where she lights a Mach and says ‘I hope that they plant the pettiest flower over my grace’ then she throws the Mach, puffy or the Captain does the same thing but she said ‘for my country’ or ‘for my king’ and throws her match. Puffy and Niki sacrifice themselves them throwing the matches was part of the plan to blow up the valley if it all went wrong. HOPE THAT HELPED

i’m not a sentimental man, but something keeps bringing me back here. i remember when this first came out, i remember the emotions it evoked. but the line between emotions from fiction and emotions of reality is a line better not crossed. it should be apparent to us all now that the man we see here and the man that he was created via are not the same. one is a monster, and the other is… what? nothing, now? a memory? i don’t know. I don’t have to know. i’m waxing poetic in a youtube comment section of a dead fandom.
Just because something is no longer with us, doesn’t meant the emotions and memories it gave us are gone too. These stories resonated with so many people because they told tales of love, trust, brotherhood and loyalty. They told the story of how to keep fighting when everything else seems hopeless.
So maybe the actors in these tales are no longer with us. One taken from us far too soon, the other rightfully cast out for causing pain and hurt to those closest to them. But the tales stick with us. They stick with us because they were important, and the emotions they elicited were real.
It’s ok to grieve a time when we came together and told each other these stories.

so tommy remains dead, they accept that yes that’s fine. but what about philza? do they accept that he will never come back or are they still hoping? im guessing that they die (techno and wilbur) and one day, philza breaks out when they are long gone. since there is not part 2 i’m pretty sure that’s what happened. i think what i really wished for was a happily ever after.

What helps me cope is trying to separate the cc from the characters in wilburs case, and seeing character technoblade as an extension of cc techno and his life and legacy

@@meghanmahoney3268 I feel like they're soulmates, platonically of course. Tommy was supposed to go up to him when puffy mentioned a kid his age. What would've happened if tommy didn't die? What would've happened if tommy talked to tubbo earlier before the war started? Maybe in an alternate universe, they were together running back to safety.
@@tunasalad9693 all of the mini story lines written into the main plot were so good!!! Niki and her flower shop, Puffy and how she became captain, Sapnap and his past lover, Tubbo and then even mentioning Lani.... I loved all those small details
I read most of it but yknow when wilbur set the explosions in the war I dont understand what happened can any1 explain
@@D1cel so captian puffy and Niki sacrificed themselves, basically Wilbur set a plan that was like ‘if there’s no hope left ima blind this horn and explode the valley by the way don’t tell Tommy’ so Wilbur blows this horn and everyone try’s to escape so that they can live. Niki saves tubbo, then she goes to the cave I think it was where she lights a Mach and says ‘I hope that they plant the pettiest flower over my grace’ then she throws the Mach, puffy or the Captain does the same thing but she said ‘for my country’ or ‘for my king’ and throws her match. Puffy and Niki sacrifice themselves them throwing the matches was part of the plan to blow up the valley if it all went wrong. HOPE THAT HELPED
