    • @RuksanaAhmed
      @RuksanaAhmed  4 месяца назад

      Hi, I uploaded every page seen as it was all online and easy to do. But when I had to provide hardcopies for the first application, I wasn't going to photocopy all pages so just did the bio page, any pages with visas on and any stamped pages. I didn't bother with any blank pages and it was still approved. I think if you just upload the pages with something in it, they will let you know if they want more pages either via email or at the biometrics appointment but not sure if you want to take that risk. Maybe check with a solicitor to make sure.

    hi @ruksana!! thank you for this video !! Its very insightful and really really helpful. wanted to check for the bills and bank statements for instance as we need to upload for 6 months , did you compile each statement for individual month in one single pdf file? as normally there would be one for each month Just don't want to make it messy . Saw that you just had one file for bills and bank statement . did you compile them all in one for each category ?
    many thanks in advance :)

    • @RuksanaAhmed
      @RuksanaAhmed  2 месяца назад

      Hiya, yes in this case I did compile them all in one pdf. But it’s fine if you upload 6 separate ones instead. And also if you separate you bills for gas, electric, water and council tax. I think they’ve changed the website now anyways and uploading is so much easier as it tells you exactly what to upload in each section.

      Hi, apologies for the late reply. Just like the wage slips, you need to provide 6 bank statements. Only your passport (all passport you have even expired ones that have been used during all your Visa processes) and BRP. Application number, appointment time and payment receipt if you can print them out. If you can't print them have proof on your phone. - I would take all other National ID Cards; driving licenses; and other ID cards like European Health Insurance Card or UK Global Health Insurance Card but have never been asked for them, just in case.

    • @Error_404_Not_Found_timed_out_
      @Error_404_Not_Found_timed_out_ 7 месяцев назад +1

      File size is more important than the amount of files. Files can't be over 6mb in size. So, if you have the option scan at low resolution. Personally I would scan every payslip individually if you can't download them and label them by the Tax week that they are issued. A really tedious process but it seems easier to keep track of them all.

    • @RuksanaAhmed
      @RuksanaAhmed  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hi, apologies for the late reply but I can see this question was already answered. You can upload multiple files onto one document and upload that as "wage slips" (so all 6 wage slips are on one document). Just make sure the documents do not exceed 6mb and are either jpeg/jpg, pdf or png files.

    • @robertocurrlos7470

      Some things are easier on mobile and some things are easier on pc. Scanning part is easier I find with a printer scanner rather than a phone😊. Remember a phone can be faster to upload

      Yes, printer scanner is far easier but for some reason it was very poor quality so we used a scanner app instead.

      You need to print them off, get them signed and then either scan them back onto the computer (pdf) or take a picture of them and upload the photo (jpg/png).

    Have you now received the ILR for your husband? How long did it take, even though the gov.uk website says 6months?

    • @RuksanaAhmed
      @RuksanaAhmed  6 месяцев назад

      Hi, yes he received his ILR in about 8 weeks. There is no time frame to when it will happen. They say usually within 8 weeks for those on a standard application which we were on but it can be days, weeks or months.

    Hey Ruksana,
    I've got most of my wife's docs together in the form of doctors letters and phone bills. However, other than that i don't have anything else for her as far as cohabitation goes. For myself i have a mixed bag in the form of CB letters, pension application, other bank account statements and annual tax statements. Do you reckon this is sufficient?

    • @RuksanaAhmed
      @RuksanaAhmed  5 месяцев назад +1

      That's fine, as long as you have those documents for 2023 and again for 2024 (to cover 2 years) that should cover 4 letters and then you'll need 1 letter for each year from 1 more company potentially. Anything from the dentist?

    • @Mrcric134
      @Mrcric134 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@RuksanaAhmed thankfully I got something from her dentist but speaking to my solicitor he said don’t worry that should cover it

      Hi, bank statements should be accepted in ILR but you will need to submit them under the proof of address section. If you are using it towards finances also then upload in both unless you can upload different ones for each. But I wouldn’t use bank statements as the only proof of addre, you need a mix of letters from different companies

I forgot what I put as Our first meeting in the first spouse visa application and now for the extension I need to answer the same question and I have no clue what to do. Hi, apologies for the later reply. You probably don't need my help anymore but I would have advised that you try and remember what date you entered the first time just so that you can keep consistency but if you really don't remember then it's probably going to be impossible and you'll just have to put any date down. Hopefully they won't match it with your old application and if they do, they don't pick up on it. I don't think it'll be a huge issue.

      Hi, apologies for the late reply. If the child is part of the application (also coming to the UK) then I would upload the full passport. If the child is British and you are just mentioning it because you need to say it is the sponsor and applicant's child together or the sponsors alone (ie, does not need a visa) then just uploading the bio page is enough.
