I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate you. I've been watching your channel since my first FLR M application and now I'm applying for ILR and this is going to be so helpful. Thank you Ruksana!
Hii Ruksana I will apply for my indefinite leave to remain next week your videos help me and get lots of information from you thank for sharing this information
Walaikumsalam. Thanks! You can apply once the applicant has had the extension visa for 30 months. However I always say apply 28 days before the brp card expires and you have right up to the day of expiry to submit the online application
Hi, They say 8 weeks on a standard visa, which was correct for us. But some people hear back within days and others hear back after months. There is no set timeframe
Thank you so much for these videos. May Allah reward you. Did you submit pay slips and bank statement for yourself and your hubby for 6 months or 2 years. Also any documents you submit is to cover the date range from the last visa till now?
Ameen! I have these videos still to come but as we were only showing my wage we only uploaded my documents for the finances. If you have been with the same employer over the last 6 months then you only need to provide 6 months of wages slips. If you have bene between jobs then you will need to provide 1 year. IF you are self-employed/own your own business then you also need to provide one year. There is no need to provide 2 years of documents in any situation really. Just remember if you do own your own business/work for a family member then there are a lot of other documents that you'll also need to provide.
No IHS fee for the ILR application. He did his B1 for the extension application so we used that same certificate for this application. If your spouse does not have B1, they will need to do it for ILR.
Hi Hope you’re doing well, I just a have a quick question for you, for someone on a spouse visa (e..g just like your husband), after they get ILR, what is the next step to get British nationality? Do you become eligible straightaway? Or is there some sort of waiting period? Thank you so much
Hi, those on a spouse visa (like my husband) can apply for citizenship straight away. There is no wait period. We have applied for my husband’s citizenship and the video will be up by the end of the week
Hi Ruksana, Thank you very much for the great video recording again. Did you apply 28 days before the brp expiry? My wife has still 5 months left on her brp but next week she is completing her 5 years stay in the UK. What would be the best time to apply in this case? Any information or thoughts would be much appreciated.
Hi, you can apply early as long as your wife has completed five years in the UK or 30 months on her FLR visa (should calculate the same). I always advise within 28days of visa expiry just to be on the safe side. We applied 28 days before visa expiry and that's only because we went abroad a few times and I didn't want this to affect our application (not that it should for the spouse visa. It can be an issue with other visas and I didn't want to risk them getting it mixed up. It's always best to stay safe with my advice so I always advise 28 days prior but you can apply sooner as mentioned above.
Thanks Ruksana. Visa expiry = brp expiry? Is that correct? So you applied 28 days before the brp expiry date because of your travels during last 5 years and you wanted these missing days added/counted to the rest of the remaining days.
Same as my case my 5 years are completed in feb but brp expires in june. My solicitor told me to apply in january because 5 years are completed no need to wait untill june , coz u need to apply for citizenship and passport so its gonna take another 6 months.

Hi. thanks for uploading this video. i am also unloading my documents. but the first document the declaration i am not sure what to do with the description box. do uou give me any idea why is the box there and any examples please si thst i have a clear picture
You don't even have to put in a description but I kept my descriptions short. Just put "declaration" or "spouse declaration" as the description as that is exactly what you're uploading.
Hi I want to ask pls you something my wife come in Uk 25.04.2019 I’m applying indefinitely now but her visa end 11.072024 I can apply visa early 5 years in April or I wait for July
Hi, you can apply as soon as your wife has been in the UK for 5 years after entry so yes, that will be in April for you. I always say wait until you are within 28 days of BRP expiry just to make sure but it will be fine.
hello Roksana please i have a Question . i came to UK in 25/09/2019 please when i can apply for my ILR? my BRP card have 31/12/ 2024 Thank you very much
Hi, it’s all to come. I’ll be uploading them a few days apart and then I’ll do a walkthrough video on how I uploaded them onto the website. I can’t remember how many we uploaded in total but it will say in that video
My patner and I have moved to the uk 6 months now but due to work n some issues we are using different addresses for the time being but hoping to get a place so we move in together I wanna know can this affect our ILR after the 5years ?
Hi, sorry to hear that you and your partner have not been able to live together. It is not ideal and it is one of the main things they look for when applying for the extension/ILR visas. But I think as long as you can explain everything in your application, it's usually fine. Please check this with a solicitor though to be sure.
@@RuksanaAhmed thank you for your reply. I have another question Sorry lol. My living situation is the same as the first application, do I need to supply another house report for the visa extension or can I use the old one?
Lol, that’s alright. You can just provide the old one and mention in your sponsor letter that you are providing the same one as before as there is no change to the living situation
I don’t think it does. My sister in laws son’s passport was expired and they still accepted the application. It would let her put an expired date in though so she put it for the year we were in and wrote a letter of corrections where she mentioned anything wrong in her application and a reason why just in case they questioned it. Hope that helps!

Did you pay ihs? Or is it just the visa fee?. Also did your spouse have to do another English test and life in the UK?

Hi Ruksana, one question, for this ILR application you don’t need to pay the NHS fee right? Thank you for your help 😊
Yes that's right you don't need to pay any NHS fee for this visa application
Hi yes, there is no NHS fees to pay for ILR ☺️
Hi I hope you will reply to this. When can you start submitting the mandatory documents? Is it after paying the fee?
Hi, I have replied to another post of yours but yes, it is after you have paid all the fees.

The last 2 years so as it’s mid 2024 you want to submit letters from mid 2022

Mam how many month salary slip and bank statement require while applying Ilr as per process after 5 years in care visa?
Hi, sorry but I don't know the rules for a carer visa. You should speak to an immigration solicitor regarding this.
Hi there .please tell me if someone married to a british citizen , can he apply for ILR after 3 years of residency
Hi, they can’t. It is either 5 years or 10 years
