The gazebo is a great addition to the garden. It looks like it's made from quality materials and will last a long time. Sorry to hear that you were sick. Best of health and best wishes to you all.
The gazebo is lovely! What a beautiful addition to your garden. I, too, got the plague. The fatigue that hangs on you stays for quite a while. I'm having to do chores in much smaller chunks and sitting quietly between. Good time to have a cup of herbal tea or a lemona9de and contemplate my next move. 🤔 I ask that you give your body and mind(brain fog) time to completely heal and don't get down on yourself that you aren't getting stuff done as fast as you think you should. Blessings on you, your family, and your homestead!🌧🪄🦋🐈⬛🕊🖖🌈
Sorry you’ve been poorly and in isolation and glad you’re on the side of better. Nice you had wood ready to use for a change and you are having such good sponsors now. Love the gazebo.
Bravo! Looks absolutely amazing. Sarah is an animal with her overhead press around 4:00. Get it girl! 💪 I imagine this being a perfect hangout for the family!!
I had it quite badly, 5 days in bed, but I was of the mindset everyone will catch it eventually. Glad you got off lightly. Love watching your home progressing.
What a great gift! I'm so glad they partnered with you all. That will be a solid part of the landscape for a long time! I'm glad you didn't get too sick.
When you're right, you are spot on! Nice touch and it was fine seeing the girls helping out---big girl and littler girl 🙂 Hope you get your full stamina back soon. All the best to you and your family and thanks for grabbing the camera to share this experience with us.
The gazebo is beautiful in your yard! I really love everything you Sarah and the kids are doing with your place. I too contracted that illness. I was sick for about a week but only 3 days of my throat filling like it had razor blades had imbedded themselves..lol. The weakness and fatigue did stay a while longer but thankfully no lasting symptoms. I’m so glad you’re better
It does look great as I was wondering when you were going to show how you put it up. I could see it on another video in the background 😂😂. OMG your girls are truly strong as the manage those beams like matchsticks.
Atlanta..lol. I finally got the vid a few weeks ago as well. Went on a cruise..lol……a few days of sleep and a sore throat. I was considering this same gazebo . Looks nice . I’m going to wait and see how this makes it thru the season.
Sweet gazebo - perfect place for a barbecue and lovely area to gather and rest in the shade. Take care Lucas-hope you feel like your old self very soon. 🕊💕
Nice gazebo! Good job with putting that together. Sorry you caught the virus, been there done that (at least twice) myself. Take zinc, vitamin D and C and plenty of water, it'll help. Adding you to my prayers!
What a nice gazebo! Pictures no words, it's like IKEA for the garden☺️ Glad your feeling better, so far we haven't had it but lack of energy seems to be a common symptom.
Health and Family come first. Take your time getting back into full swing. We'll still be here! One question about gazebo I had was will you have to take roof off during winter or will it handle the snow load ?
I’m playing catch-up on your progress. Great idea for a solar building! Will it otherwise be a shed? A play house for the kiddos? Blessings to you and your beautiful family.
Nice job and it looks like your family makes a great team. I think if you add solar light it would look beautiful. If you do, please share what it looks like at night.
Now all you need is some nice wicker chairs under there. I just got two from HomeDepot that I love and look so like the pieces from the past. Hampton Bay was the brand which I've been buying over the years with success. Good quality pieces and they last.
Wow - that's a really nice gazebo, it matches the house so perfectly. I'm sorry you weren't feeling well and that you're alright. I agree about Atlanta, not my favorite place, certainly difficult to drive through.
Just got over it here as well. You built a gazebo. We are still dragging. We had it for 2 days. The gazebo is beautiful. You made it look super easy. Great to see you here.
I was sick in January with a sore throat that lasted about 36 hours, so I stayed home for a few days. I never lost my sense of taste or smell, and no fever, so I think it was just a cold. After feeling better, I went back to going to crowded the gym to work out and use the sauna afterwards. Very few people wear masks here. I haven't gotten sick since then. However, the college students came back to town starting last week, so I'll see what happens. Hopefully, they haven't brought anything with them to make others sick. The gazebo looks cool. It looks like a fun place to sit in the shade and sip on a cold glass of lemonade on a hot summer day.
Atlanta was beautiful! We watch a ball game, went to top golf! The people are honestly very nice too.. it was just sensory overwhelming for me.. the city was great 👍
I swear I could hear the thought gears turning in Sarah's head thinking how she would use the gazebo. Are you concerned about the four posts wicking water from the ground? My uncle, Andy Joe, built a gazebo very similar in size to yours with no plans. He just had an idea how he wanted it to be. He framed the roof with steel tubing (lots of welding) and had the steel roof cut and anodized. Anyway, his posts are 8 x 8 cedar. He mounted them onto piers set halfway into the ground. The posts have roofing felt between them and the concrete piers. He won't say how much the gazebo cost, only that cost got away from him. As kids we loved getting under the gazebo during thunder showers. Rain drops bounced off the ground and we were dry.
I haven’t thought too much about that. Seems like the cedar is finished and I don’t know if it can draw moisture? Maybe it could. I was thinking I could technically build a gazebo for a lot less.. I wish your uncle would share 😂
@@1806StoneHouse I wish Andrew could share. He's gone to the big gazebo in the sky. As for wicking moisture I honestly only know his answer when I asked what the black paper was sticking out from under the posts.. I'll probably google the wicking question this evening. Maybe I was wrong.
I don't know how rot resistant the posts are, but he instructions say it should be anchored for safety. Maybe research to see if the current anchors are adequate for emergency level winds is wise.
I'm sorry that you got Covid and I'm glad you're feeling better. Hopefully you all had your vaccines, that has made the difference for so many people. The gazebo is where you'd find me, I have always dreamed of having one. It's beautiful! I would love to live on property such as yours with peace, quiet and serenity, especially now. Wishing you all health, joy and good times together.
Sorry you got sick. Doesn’t sound as though you were impressed with Atlanta, I grew up there. Once I married and had my babies we left there for a small town in the north Georgia mountains. No way I wanted my kids there, never regretted it. We love it here, even though it’s growing more than I care for.
Thank you so much for this video! I’ve been subscribed since the VERY beginning, I love all of your content so much. I was just looking at the Sunjoy website. I’m ordering a pergola from them this weekend! I’ve been looking for one but the quality was always lacking and I really wanted wood. Thank you so much for introducing me to this company. Your new gazebo looks amazing. I hope you feel better soon. ❤️
It definitely looks like it belongs there! Beautiful addition! PS I had all three of those Illnesses over a years time, C19, Delta, and Omicron. No lasting affect and no going to the Drs. Just testing positive PS- I'm retired.
You know, its ok to say covid. Youre the third you tuber Ive seen this week thats had it and two close friends here in the Texas Hill Country have had it too. So covid is still out there and precautions to protect yourself and others are the best thing to do, dispute any of the political implications. That being said, the Gazebo looks great and I'm wishing you a complete recovery.
It is looking band new still. No color change in the wood or metal. And it has been through many snow and wind storms without any concern. Seriously impressive.
I do like a great gazebo especially when weather permits watching kids and animals and gardens grow. Enjoy for many hours to come. The kids are growing entirely too fast.
So sorry you got the "C"...hope you do not have an lingering symptoms. Happy Sun Joy chose you to showcase one of their products. The gazebo looks great in your garden This will be a long term part of the garden, a nice place for a cook out as well. Have a Blessed day.
Call me sceptical but I would have set the gazebo on that stone platform. So these posts don't suck water and start rotting. Other than that, it's a robust looking construction.👍
Gazebo is lovely 😍 I had Covid in March 2022 unfortunately because I have underlying conditions I am suffering with long Covid, it didn't help that my responsibilities meant I could not rest at all extending the effects, everyone got it at the same time unfortunately
Ghhhaaa. So sorry. That is so tough and stressful… but Sarah always reminds us “ our bodies are made to heal” although n the mean time things can be very hard. Sending strength to heal…
