Hi, you can never have too much lighting on machinery, it’s so nice to find a company that knows what you want and can not only supply the goods but go one further and has things that you did not know you wanted. This person deserves to grow into a very big business and deliver a good profit for him.
Lukas, I love how you are a life-long learner. You are open to suggestions, correction and even criticism. You carefully weigh all comments. You seem to me to be humble, even in your humorous self-evaluation, which always makes me smile. Thank you for sharing your life, it brings me joy during these trying times.
Lucas, good to see that you got the proper safety equipment for your table saw! Very wise decision and good to promote safety to your viewers who may be your juniors or seniors. My dad was a cabinet maker for most of his life. Never got hurt for decades until one day he did. Luckily he had a good surgeon and recovered full use of his hand. Best regards to you and your family!
Talk about customer service! Ron has it down!! I love what his company does, how they do it, and that you found him. Thanks for sharing. I don't need his products, but I hope he gets some good business from this video. I mean, made in the USA!
So happy to see you added safety features to your old saw, more than once I noticed that blade with no guard. What a great solution, and a dust attachment and a light! Cool orange push sticks👍👍 p.s. if you want a rave with out the light, just open and close your eyelids really fast. Lol
This is great content, it shows your attention to detail your sense of responsibility and embraces a good company that makes safety gear. I didn't cringe when you used the saw. Well done Peace
Hey Lucas- l really enjoyed the story about calling Ron directly and having a good chat with someone who knows their stuff. Rare these days 🥰. You may even have a new subscriber in Ron 😁
Thanks for the content. I have a Jet JWTS10 and Ron hooked me up with a similar set up. I spoke with him on the phone and he offered me a discount as well. Super knowledgeable guy and great products.
Very very glad you got the new safety gear for your table saw. We want to keep you around, so it's good it'll be safer now. Ron seems like a pretty nice guy. Hope your video brings him more bussiness.
Lukas - thanks for making this video. "You know you've reached that next level when you link zip ties to each other," lol. I love the humor. It almost makes me think we need a RUclips woodworking comedy channel. I just bought a Delta 36-725T2 contractor's saw and the reviews for it are almost all good with the exception of people saying it has pretty bad dust collection. Looks like a Shark Guard is my next big purchase. $300 seems a bit steep for some plastic, but if it keeps me safe and does a decent job at dust collection, it's totally worth it.
We all cut corners, (no pun intended) when it comes to safety when hard at work. But having seen way too many table saw accidents in my lifetime (including loss of fingers) I think that a safety guard on a table saw is a MUST HAVE. The SharkGuard appears to be a good one. The light feature is really nice. Not all work areas are as well lit as they should be for cutting. Thanks so much for posting.
Went to college in the late 80s early 90s and had to learn to use a table saw in my sculpture class. It looked more like yours before the safety equipment. I was terrified to use it. But, yours I think I could handle. Happy cleaning!
I am delighted you got that! It can only make your job easier and more exact and with less STRESS. Congratulations on finding someone to help you work with more ease. I am thinking you are going to love using that and lots more relaxed about the safety factors........looks awesome as heck! Blessings
That is a great upgrade to your saw! The value is most certainly there for the safety aspect alone, but the other features of the setup really add value. I look forward to your first shop Rave. 😎
I'm the type of Gumby chick that cuts themselves reading a book so even though I would love to create more using wood, I have an aversion to sharp, bitey things. This set up looks so good and safe (some of the design construction reminds me of sewing machines and how some of the feet work, plates and plus you have a light on the area you are focusing on)! BTW - the thumbs up is for Ron (but you can share right?).
Very clever, it looks very safe to me , I’m thinking of getting a table saw and would not get one without similar attachments like yours . Good job Ron , your product looks awsome.
I own the exact tablesaw that you have. Great Video, going to give Ron a call. Looks like a solid product. Thank You, ‼️ ‼️ Vinny 🇺🇸 PS, HOUSE LOOKS FANTASTIC ‼️
@@1806StoneHouse I was going to ask, what kind of table extension do you use? Maybe you have posted this elsewhere, just stumbled upon you while researching the shark.
Nice video, but the vac hose that you have coming from the table saw is not properly connected to the vacuum. The Y-adapter is installed backwards. I hope that you caught and fixed that.
I am so happy you have put this safety device on. ( Not that Ive seen you be unsafe) Just this week, one of my regular customers had a bad accident with his table saw! Wonder why they thought the flashlight needed a rave mode!! 😉 Be well from Canada 🇨🇦
This is amazing!! I might just have an opportunity to get my hands on a Powermatic 64A and I was just wondering about the safety features. Thanks so much for posting!!
Nice set up Bud. Glad you're happy with it & ultimately safer to use. Family needs you around for aging time & we need you around to make videos😂👍. Hoping all is well Bud, Dirty Jersey out!!
I started searching for a tablesaw dust collection setup and found lots of very expensive options. Your video did a great job in explaining how the blade guard is attached on a Powermatic saw. I have always worked without a blade guard because the older saws guards were terrible. The Shark Guard goes into place quite nicely and certainly provides excellent protection to the user. This is a huge selling point for me. Over the years, I have had a couple of "near misses" with my current setup. So, the Shark Guard is well worth the price and after a bit more research, I will be calling Ron. I noticed that there was some sawdust that the Shark Guard did not stop. Is this normal or just part of the setup? Excellent video... Thank you very much
Thanks for the video. I ordered the Shark Guard and should see it next week. Since I have a cyclone dust collector, I was able to create a new drop right over the tablesaw blade. Hopefully, the 4 inch port will provide more air movement. I agree that Ron was a great help in selection of this product. In fact, he has the same in his shop (Powermatic 66) that I have.@@1806StoneHouse
Great addition, nice to update that saw with some cooly-made gadgets. A couple of great laughs too tho my raving days are lost in the mists of time, but my excitement when I join two zip ties together on the allotment are unbounded. :)
Excellent and when it comes to safety a benefit, good on you for learning even if a little late, sure to make your work a lot better and just maybe quicker. 🤔😘
Thank you Lucas for acting on getting your saw upgraded and getting push sticks! Thank you Ron for being there to ask and answer questions so 1806 Stonehouse could get exactly the equipment needed and for being so prompt in getting it to him. I am greatly relieved. Why? U have 2 give me a call when you upload.... So i don't miss it.... 😜 Have you seen Millie Marie? Do u have a cold? U can hook up a light instead of the flashlight.... Just lay the cable along the dust collector hose.... And if u get a converter from the big hose 2 a small one, that fits the smaller dust collector fitting.... Then u got a more intense suction n maybe u actually suck up the saw dust when u saw..... 😁😁

Nice to hear that there is someone with a product that you can actually talk to. Very cool. So happy that you are more safe now.

My brother-in-law has a similar table. I will check to see if it's the same model and order a Shark Guard if it is.
