You need to listen to Slash and Myles do Starlight from the Roxy September 2014. Slash had the music bed, sent it to Myles who wrote the melody and lyrics. That was the beginning of their collaboration. It's great song.

Axl has such a unique voice it's impossible to get to his pitch/level. Myles did a fantastic job n he can get pretty high but not quite Axl's pitch but a great rendition nonetheless

Get Myles into GNR, can sing far better than what Axl can these days. Slash should also bring back Velvet Revolver with Myles as vocalist as that would be fkn awesome.
GnR is Axl's band. Also, Axl & GnR are doing great, they are tight, happy & very successful, so there is no reason to change what works for them. Slash has enough time to also tour with Myles, so I am confused as to why you are suggesting any changes?
