Thank you for taking the time to show this robot. Piss off to the nit picky "Video Experts" comments. Of course it's obvious that you were not used to making video's, but we all get the idea. You showed for me at least what the Omnibot can do. I am big collector of R/C Robots & I recently came across a "MINT" one with the retail box & shipping box that I would spend good money on. Many that you come across are in horrible to no thanks condition. Thanks again for video!!!
I was born in 84' so I actually never seen this thing until I just saw that Mac had one as a kid on "Always Sunny in Philly" that of course his father broke into someones house to get.
I Had this as a kid but i was 8. Only my much older cousin knew about the programming part but never came back to do it. Back then i thought the bot would require very complex programming like plugging a computer and feeding programs. hehheh. I did not know that it was this simple. Alas I left the country a few years later and lost all my toys including expensive ones like this and a Tamiya rc car. Sob....
Hello ! Thanks a lot for your video. I was dreaming to have one as a kid. I remember the toy catalogue in France in the 80’s. It was very expensive. So you can program it just by recording the orders sequencies on a cassette ?! Awesome ! Anyone knows what programming language was used ?? Basic ?
I was watching the floors & walls more than the robot 😒 Dude you need to focus more on whats on your camera screen rather than just viewing the item with your own eyes lol.
Same here, I remember wanting it and all I was able to do is stare at it when ever I went to Toys R Us. Good memories

AH MAN THAT THING IS AWESOME!
Wow! I had that when I was a kid!
I wanted one of these really bad when I was a kid. As I recall, it was like $200 or $300 back in the day. No way my parents were buying me that.
Same :(
Toys r us had it in the glass case

I came here because of a red chattering lory named Gumi, who appears to have his own Omnibot.
Wish I still had mine !! My mom put it in a garage sale in the late 80s lol

Good content but I have severe eye strain and a headache from the camera

I know it's a year later but here's your answer! No language just frequency! The remote is a radio transmitter.
More vids :)

OMG, me too.. And i felt like an idiot saying the same thing over and over and Verbot never did it just right.
