I'm from Georgia and that climb up Blood Mountain is STEEP. Very cool that they're using the terrain up there for their selection.
I go there every year I didn’t know they did that
As a member of C 1/75 from 78-82 I enjoy hearing young studs like Mike talk about his experiences.
Thank you for your service

@@bradleydennis1263 you’re welcome Bradley, best wishes
I would like to hear how your experience in Ranger Bn then compared to now. I was in 79-91, ABN but not Ranger

I got shot twice on Christmas day serving in C 1/75. Almost bled out. Severed femoral artery and vein. Very lucky to be alive.
Mike's two podcasts are my favorite.
Very interesting. I wonder if RRC holds different selections for the other battalions, or if it's all the same thing.
"Quiet Professionals who aren't quiet".. True statement nowadays.
"Quiet" doesn't necessarily mean "silent"
It doesn't mean profit off of books and podcasts either.
@@defions4208 Yes, it's a good thing that I keep my trap shut about my operational background instead of spotlighting myself on RUclips....huh
@@defions4208 I think that you missed my point here bud. Maintaining a low profile has given way to clicks and subscriptions for profit regardless of mottos'.
@@defions4208 Yes, you're right.....Rangers always run their sucks and spotlight and aren't quiet and professional. The subject is about SOF members peddling their BS to profit, and not about what the content is generally about. Keep up with the topic...huh
He really looks like Matthew McConaughey.
Alright, Alright, Alright!
@@ThePecky1966 "I keep getting older and these girls stay the same age"
*Matthew McConaughey WISHES he looked like him. No homo...
K. Eagle, so Proud of ya son, and your brother.
The intro always reminds me of prestige worldwide
mike is a humble badass and his wife is super sweet.
how does this compare to training of the first ranger battalion
My dad was a first from colonel Boynton the founder of delta force my dad was his sergeant major and top trainer until 1985
That’s wild, did you serve as well?
Airbourne ranger 20yrs

My recruiter had no information on rrc. I passed the asvab i qualified of all the intelligence mos 35l has rasp. After passing and being selected to be in 75th ranger regiment can you go straight into rrc or you need more years to be qualified
Recruiters for the most part only know “big army” stuff, they’re going to be very limited on what the 75th does. Furthermore they probably have never heard of RRC. You’ve got a long pipeline if you haven’t gone to basic yet, but pass RASP first, get your tab, and then spend some time being a TL on the line and THEN maybe then mention going over to RRC.
Notice how every T1 guy is handsome
what is it about them
It’s good genetics man
fag
Is RRC tier1 ?
Yup
Yes.
NOPE
@@TheInfantry98 what lmao
No

When he was deciding between going to selection at ft. Bragg (SF) or going for RRC, I mean… go for RRC. RRC is a tier one black unit, and SF is T2.
He was referring to Delta not SF.
@SickCall Ranger yeppers
The only reason why any 11B Ranger would go SFAS is because once you're E6 and your did time as a squad leader on the line... there's really no mobility upwards. Either go Tier 1 or go SF. It's a shame.
@SickCall Ranger I'm actually in the SF pipeline, as I'm writing this. I'm leaving and heading to RASP. I see the qualities of the guys in the Q and man, I am not impressed. Now i know why guys in group are complaining about the shitty guys SWCS is producing.
Wrong, incorrect information on tiers and what they actually mean. It's always people not in SOF who talk like they know.
Sounds like SAS selection.
all spec ops basically came from the british from world war two
The SAS set the blueprint for essentially all 21st century SMU's
@@jabarhenv5933.. 22 SAS regiment and its selection came from Jock Woodhouse in the 50s.. Completely different organization. from Stirlings 1st SAS and LRDG of WW2
Jack creeps me out. Ya buncha loveable weirdos
sounds a whole lot like SFAS
It does but it's way harder...
More walking than SFAS by a longshot
Best recon regt is British SRR
There is one simple reason why they're not... Money. Their budget unfortunately limits their capability
LOL The UK SRR was modeled and based on the US ISA “Intelligence Support Activity”
From former British Intelligence Corp Officer Micheal Smith who augmented 22 SAS in Omen and NI - *The extent of the ISAs success was perhaps most vividly shown when the UK Directorete of Special Forces decided to reverse the pretense of a shared history and follow the American lead. In 2005 it set up its own new units, the Special Reconnaissance Regiment and the 18th Signals Regiment in a fitting tribute to the ISAs success* - From his book “Killer Elite” VII introduction
And no, they were not 14 Det before hand, 2 completely different animals. Lol
Nobody likes Quiet Professionals who aren't quiet.
Maybe this isn't the right channel for you if you feel this way.
The audacity you have to say something like that when you damn well haven’t achieved close to these men
Mind your tongue woman.
I don't get it are you a troll or lefty feminist or just don't get it
This helps with recruiting. Pretty sure nobody here likes you...... "Lady".
