• From Delta Operator to...
#deltaforce #mercenaries
I was on a 1-year contract over 1976/77 in Angola, working for Jonas Savimbi's UNITA. We were working in Southern Angola around Ondjiva and slightly further North. The job, since Savimbi had taken most of his army and civilians East to avoid encounters with FAPLA and Cuban troops trying to consolidate their hold in the Cunene and Cuando Cubango area, was to operate as Guerrilla units and stop the MPLA Government in Luanda from setting up permanent bases and eliminate any personnel that they sent into that area. I was there on a 1-year contract but ended up leaving early with three other guys due to a major pay issue. We were getting some 'under the table' assistance from the SADF but it wasn't enough to overlook the pay bullshit. I remember it being dirty, bloody and ugly with no particular rules of engagement, and way too many bad bush meals. I also vividly remember the 1000+ km drive to Windhoek in a very old, liberated Land Rover. The whole episode, honestly, stands out as one of the least thought-out decisions of my life.
Comstock is a former delta operator btw a real true tier 1
Believe or not extremely talented with dogs as well. 🐕🐾🐾🏴☠️

My personal experience dabling in being a mercenary in anti-piracy was your job is to be thrown under the bus. You had to watch your employer with both eyes. None of it ended well for most working for Advanfort. But it was another chapter in my book of misadventures and I got my crew home.
Brooooo, what happened!?! Tell your story my brother we all wanna hear it. Legends never die.
You went with the wrong company
Advanfort's "board of advisors" was 2 coast guard radms, 1 NAVY boy and a mf attorney Lmao
So, I was on a crew in Nigeria in the early 2000's. The govt promised us 140K per man for 1 year. We were there to train the police and military how to use, and employ individual and crew served weapons. What actually happened was that some finance minister stole half of the money we were to be paid and we wound up being re-tasked to guarding convoys from Lagos to Abuja. A few times we were sent out on military patrols as advisors, just to come under fire and watch the Nigerian military throw down its weapons and run away, leaving us to fight a rear guard action. Needless to say, we lasted about 7 months and were politely asked to leave the country when we discovered the theft of our wages.
Not as glamorous as it was cooked up to be, by either the Nigerian Government or the Company that hired us out.
Get paid at the beginning of the month, not the end. If they aren't willing to do it monthly, then weekly, or daily. You know, like a hooker.
That is business
Bad business.
That confound prince did it.
Rule: Never let the locals handle your logistics.
Rule: Never do the last leg of an infil without gunning up.
Rule: Never go out with a crew that you haven’t practiced with at least a couple of times.
Rule: If working alone or with a small crew always buy local shoes, used if possible. The bad guys can tell you’re USA with one glance at your shoes.
It’s crazy that Dale kept all the details of it out, yet very simple Google-Fu finds the entire story with names, pix, etc…

That intro of that shoot house is hilarious with those guys trying to do speed runs and flagging each other. Clown world.
Clown World HAHAHAHAHAHAH!
Flagging happens all the time, especially in cqb. There’s no real way around it. Just have good trigger discipline.
@@gochi6542 facts
Huh? 🤔 Spend a Lotta time doing CQB and MOUT, do ya? Hey- your safety consciousness and awareness are commendable, but in real CQB, it is simply unavoidable- just no way around it. You try to minimize it and mitigate the risks the best you can. That is where training and muscle memory is of paramount importance. I think CQB is the most dangerous type of combat there is for many reasons, including those you pointed out.
@@bucksaw1 saying that real qcb is unavoidable while a questionable statement does not preclude safety and safety consciousness. Now I haven't done a lot of Mount house training or shoot house training but I've watched it done for years and I watch specifically retired sergeant major Mike Glover who is a special forces 18 operator at CIA contractor break down this video in about 30 seconds and explain what's wrong with it. All the training and muscle memory is not going to help you if it's trained wrong and incorrectly like these guys are executing on, so if you train wrong and incorrectly and make a habit out of it you've created a bad habit and you created a situation where you're consistently going to do things wrong in any dangerous manner. One of the primary problems I feel besides not being able to execute on the task at hand which is the close quarters combat if these guys are doing it incorrectly, is the danger to their other operators on either side of them which can be mitigated and can be executed correctly because like I said one of the primary issues is if you negligent discharge or shoot your buddy who you are clearing a room or hallway with then you don't have your buddy anymore it's just you. So doing it the correct way as correct Firearms instructors training and QC q courses and trainers show people how to do not only ensures you're going to be more proficient and be able to stop the threat and clear the area more efficiently and safely but you're also not going to create a situation where you are endangering your own teammates and increasing the odds that you will fail.
Did I mention I sell bridges? Yeah, kits actually. They're one size fits all.

Buzzfeed have the entire story and people involved. So you have one gangster Mohammed Dahlan , a kicked out intel security boss of Palestinian Fatha who paid Israeli-Hungarian gangsters
Abraham Golan’s murder Inc firm to carry out assassinations in Yemen on behalf of UAE who hired Dahlan to arrange things. The Golan company called “Spear” and its founders Isaac
Gilmore and Abraham Golan hired Dale Comstock and company to murder at least 24 or more people in Yemen, they failed the first time then continued a series of assassinations later.
A former CIA official who worked in the UAE initially told the outlet US citizens would not be allowed to carry out those kinds of operations. However, he later seemed to confirm the
existence of similar programs. “There were guys that were basically doing what you said,” he said. “What vetting procedures are there to make sure the guy you just smoked is really

London, United Kingdom - The United Kingdom, Turkey and the United States have been asked to open police investigations into alleged war crimes committed by the
United Arab Emirates and its mercenaries in Yemen in 2015 and 2019, and arrest Emirati officials under the principle of universal jurisdiction.
British law firm Stoke White filed the complaints on Wednesday to the Metropolitan Police in London, the US Department of Justice and Turkey’s Ministry of Justice on behalf
of Yemeni journalist Abdullah Suliman Abdullah Daubalah, who claims he was targeted in an attack, and Salah Muslem Salem, whose brother was killed in the war-torn country.
Rodney Dixon QC, an international human rights lawyer in London, said the case, which was funded by private individuals, “highlights how a foreign state used its own agencies and
mercenaries to intervene in affairs of another state”. “It is important that international community condemns this. If evidence shows that UAE acted unlawfully, then individuals
should be stopped and arrested.”

He also spoke highly of the SEAL...one was good, the other was not. So you're simply completely clueless and unable to think well for yourself, so this may not be the channel for you. Give "Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck" You Tube channel a try....it won't be as challenging to understand.

Especially when he has more reasons to respect his abilities and sacrifice and control of his emotions and access to world changing events and top tier intel doing the most high risk missions at the highest levels of self-sacrifice, pain, training, emotional trauma, skill development, with SUCCESS for decades even into almost sixty years old.....while you can't even respect a man that's worthy of respect....and yet you like yourself.
Egomania is one of the main traits of psychopathy.
@@catharperfect7036 And stupidity is one of the main traits of being stupid. You really think an egomaniac can make it through military recruiting, basic training, special forces selection, more training, deployments, then applying to Delta Force where only the best of the best are even allowed to try, and then. very very small percentage are selected...with one of the main things they reject is anyone that is more ego based than team based? I'm thinking you don't do much thinking...
@@locophoto6881 'You really think an egomaniac can make it through..'
errr... yes. In fact double yes.
@@catharperfect7036 An egomaniac is often someone who believes their own opinion more than truth, from loving how they think.
Damn I wish there was a world of mercenary Boatswains Mates.
😂 yeah, making four aye! 20k drive this boat no questions asked 😂
@@Spaceman_Spiff_74 Paint this boat a different color for me no questions asked.
I know 2 of the legionnaires on this task and I work with one of them now.
Well what did they say ?? Is he wrong or right about the story??
@@ericte2400 nothing mate, they neither agreed or disagreed.
Dude s literally a videogame character
Hell yea
Do you need a helicopter mechanic/crew chief/flight engineer
I guarantee you if those seals were Tier 1 Team 6 guys there wouldn’t have been any hiccups.
When you aren't working with the same team over and over and over for everything. Things are harder. if it was just a delta team, or a devgru team (team 6), it would have been much easier. But its the fact that none of the dudes trained together was the main issue
Except when they're using money for asset dev to buy drugs and murder their fellow operators when they get caught! 😂🤣
I don't think it works like that. Seam Team 6 doesn't do the same thing as the regular, only better. I was under the impression they focus on other stuff. So there's probably lot of misson types which the regular teams can do better than ST6.
It’s really training. The French guys have different operating procedures etc compared to
The seals and they have it different to Delta so really it’s confusing
It was like the Movie Uncommon Valor after the South Vietnamese and the CIA took Their Weapons.
Was the G5 from Phoenix Air?
Damn i need my squad to hit this kinda training up...
I liked Eric Hanley’s book
Dale looks straight outta predator. It’s dope lol 🤘🏻🇺🇸
Hi dale
If you’ve not seen it From Paris With Love is a stupidly fun action movie with John Travolta. Literally is the same guy.
There are a multitude of different story’s that are very similar, and in cases very close,or identical to Movies as well as Books that are related. One example in this case would be,Paramount Pictures Movie “The Contractor” staring Chris Pine, and Ben Foster. In the Movie the main character James Harper “Chris Pine”,is sitting around a pool discussing the upcoming Mission, and other details. When he signs papers, and agrees to the terms with the guy who started up the Contracting Company,he was offered 50K to take the stress off of James so he could focus on the Mission. I’m not discrediting Dale, just pointing out that he is repeating a lot of things that are in Movies,Books, and were talked about on a Podcast, or Show. A good bit of it is verbatim,or close. I don’t have a “Mercenary” background by any means. But have a decent background, and understanding of the Military. I have done nothing to write a book about, but I am a 4th Generation Combat Veteran . ARMY MOS-12B SAPPER/RANGER, Iraq 2004-2005 / Afghanistan 2009-2010 . Enlisted Sept 2003-DOD Sept 2011 . Afterwords a buddy, and I did a run after signing up for Border Security with a PMC, for the Money obviously. I am not an expert on this subject, but only pointing out some things. It is possible that it is the only way that they can discuss situations that they have been apart of. Then again I don’t know. I have never discussed anything of merit about any Deployment, unless the person was there, like one of my many Brothers. I had to comment on my break,so I have not proofread. 🫡
@punisher3167 Do you have any other examples or just the 50k similarity, which let's be honest is nothing at all. What are the rest of 'a lot of things' that are from movies?
This sounds like a movie 🎬 was there a montage when he trained them in explosives lol 😆 😂 🤣
They Were "Expendables" however 20-40K ain't gonna cut it. I'll pass
Why would your CQB intro be pointing guns at your teammates back?

Is this guy real? Man my bs meter is pegged
hes very real
He's full of shit. Appears he was in Delta years ago but this story makes no sense. Especially someone involved in the Cole attack. JSOC would have killed him or captured. If they didn't means he's a nobody.
@@danieln6421 I reckon he is at least partially full of shit.......fuck he has a flag on his damn seat
