Hey i’m working on building my turbo G35 right now. For 02 sensors, how many do I need? I’ve got a standalone linkecu and I keep seeing people mention closed and open loop 02 sensors. My understanding is that I need one narrowband in each manifold before they merge into one collector, and then a wideband ~8 inches down the downpipe. The narrowband is for closed loop tuning where the ECU can automatically adjust AFR based on the NB sensor reading. Then at WOT (not sure when it switches over?) the wideband sensor is used for a more accurate reading as AFR value changes to become more effective. That’s my understanding, please correct me if i’m wrong
currently installing this on my 06 350z and cant get it to go into boost was wondering if u had a problem like this also how did u run your vac lines 4 your wastegate
@@kamilchromiak1057 no not yet I working on outside of car added an lip spoiler and next to arrive is the front splitter mines. Roadster so didn’t need a big big spoiler so
Its the rev9 with a turbonetics turbo right? Be honest is it worth it or is it a complete waste of money, ill be doing things to the trans and engine foe it yo handle 450-500 hp, but the kit says its up for 450 and the seller is claiming its all on my tuner that there has been successful builds at 500 with this kit. Let me know 😊
I’d say do 3 inch down pipe tial 44mm wastegate and gtx3582r bigger turbo and intercooler on this kit 500-550whp that’s what I’ve seen building my kit to hold 650whp built engine with this kit
what thread pitch adapter did you use for the oil feed on the upper oil pan, an4 to 1/8bsp? or is it a different size
@@mitchbastos2806 iirc, that's a 1/8th male npt to a male -4AN

Thats how I have mine setup. With standalone ECUs, you have way more benefits, and being able to read a wideband sensor is one of them.
Quality work for sure! have you dyno'd it yet? And where did you find the cosworth intake manifold?
Oh yea, it's been dynoed. Check out the description :)

I'm on a Haltech ECU. I assume you're on Uprev?
where’d u put the power steering cooler
Did you watch the video? 😅
14:20 mark bro....
my fault bro i was in the hot sun watching this video😭 was that the header o2 sensor u relocated wherever u put that dimple ?
@@recon_freaker5174 yep, it was.
Nice video bro
Thanks man. Is there anything in particular that I was able to help you with?

Only worth it if you know how to deal with piss poor QC and have some experience. I wouldn't recommend this to a novice that's for sure.
All in all would you recommend this kit if installed properly by someone with fabrication skills?
100%. The turbo and wastegate itself is half the cost of the kit.
Do you still have AC on your setup? Are the lines holding up ok?
nope
For the bOV when you installed the one that came with the kit did it have some play to it ?
Define "play" if you could.
If Im on air ride would that pipe running underneath get crushed when fully aired down?
Not sure to be honest.
How do you control the 3 port Mac valve ona Z?
Standalone.
