Bro I turboed my HR 350Z for 3,200 and made 583 horsepower. And it has been reliable for a year so far. And those parts include everything you talked about. Obviously I did the install myself and I'm friends with a tuner but I'm just saying it can be done

It definitely can be done. I sent like crazy when i turbo'd my g35, definitely will be smarter this time around with my g37s

How does the price break down? 3200 for just the kit or for install+kit?
I thought turbo’s were simple. So many options. It would be nice to see Danny use his knowledge on Z cars into a business. Lots of information in this video.
If your Z is manual, midmount is really the best option every time. I’ve made 600whp on 93 (no meth) with my midmount kit and it supports over 800whp with proper fueling & turbo selection.
We make over 600 all the time on rear placement. This car had ignition issues. We stopped instead of scattering rods like you prefer to do. Hope all is well. Happy holidays.

Just for the record twin turbos are twins meant to spool and hit boost at the exact same time. Sequential turbos on the other hand is where one hits bottom end and the other hits top end
On top of that there are no features that uprev has over ecutek. Ecutek is literally the wise way to go.

I would not have went with an eBay oil cooler and an eBay intercooler. Those parts are very important. Congrats on the car. Love the channel
For the AAM twin turbo kit, do you have to pull out the engine for installation?

Just to be clear. Danny did not mention it but the way he worded it rev9 vs AAM. AAM does not come with tune or clutch or tune.

All said and done with all the upgrades I made, supercharged, right about $14,000 😬 Worth every penny 😁.

Are the torque and hp limits if your motor doesn’t have forged internals? Cause I’ve seen de’s with 700+ hp

just got a 2004 350z wanna turbo it its at 110k miles how long would i get out of it if i push 400hp
One thing I've wondered about is if it's worth getting a used turbo kit and building around that? I'm looking at getting into a VQ model next year and want to turbo it also. Just doing my research as this would be my first car that I'm actually modding. It would be a semi daily driven car and I want modest power 450-500hp range.

@EzEver their base kit is around 7k installed, I decided to do a ton of other things and ended up spending a lot more haha.
I had my gallery gaskets done, turbo kit fabricated and installed, water/meth injection system installed, EcuTek flash and BT dongle, dyno tuning, upgraded my boost controller and blow off valve, upgraded fuel pump, upgraded injectors, and a ton of miscellaneous things too - still was below $19k 😂
The car makes 600whp with the limit being my clutch. I had JUST put a performance one in last season and didn’t think I’d turbo the car, once I change that my kit is good for more power.

I have a question Danny would you be able to run meth while running E85 as well, or meth applications are only necessary when you’re not running on E85

This video made me decide what I want to do with my 08 350Z... LS3 swap it. With no turbos you can still make 500hp and 475 torque. Then with turbos imagine the possibility's...lol

I reached out to SOHO Motorsport, and asked what the cost is to have their A2A supercharger “lyte” installed on a stock 370z. The total cost for the supercharger, fuel pump, injectors, clutch, ecu/tune, and labor was $17,000….
Dam , mines looking like 12-14k.
I have 08 and with the SC lyte kit, and I did the VR30 7AT trans and aluminum drive shaft with everything required. Overall, 18,000. But yes, do the basics to prep the engine. So, there are no complications.

Twin turbo in Z is not sequential... its 1 turbo per 3 cylinders :)

He was doing a running total of the tune, clutch, fueling, etc. not that the tune is $5k, he said it was roughly $1k

I have a question I don’t know much about engines but I recently bought a 2009 g37 and I swapped the engine I installed a 2015 q50 engine I found in a junk yard very good condition I know that it isn’t the 3.0 twin turbo version but is it the hr or vhr version? How can I tell the difference lol

Why would it make less power, boost is boost, it can make the same power as any other kind of turbo kit when setup properly, i just tuned a z that we have at our shop and made 640whp with the same setup that we sent to danny
@@Vqde_master huh. I just thought it seemed like a front mount would be more efficient, less distance to push the boost if that makes sense.
@@rocksolid_rl3166 ik it’s late but rear mounted turbos have more exhaust pressure making the spool time almost instant and prevents heat soak since it’s farther away from the hot engine components

Oh other thing too bro you scare me with the amount of shit that's usually big ticket items for the low, this shit ain't a honda or a beater, careful where you cut corners I cringe sometimes listening to you talk about how you go about things, turbo kit is not just a bolt on your right about checking all leaks that was good to hear but on a 370z 350z unless it has very low miles you should always engine out and inspect before adding something that will add way more pressure along the entire assembly, also idk if you have it but please buy a catch can, if you want my recommendation soho or radium
Turbos are single points of failure. Why would you mount it right behind rear bumper where it has no protection 🤦♂️ to each his own
