My only input is that you really need to upgrade the battery connectors. Castle specifically says not to run XT90/EC5 connectors. bump up to a QS8 connector and you'll also pick up some speed (not that you need anymore 😂).
Look up Peter home built ultralight airplane electric he uses huge oversized RC plane type brushless motors two of them two giant 20 cell batteries like five of those or six of those and two giant ESC is basically giant oversized RC plane electronics that he showed into an ultra light aircraft that he built out of foam and plywood and he actually flies it sitting in the cockpit. Very nice work! I follow you from France. I was persuaded that this kind of assembly was possible! 8000w you are nice but the 2028 is capable of more! for the autonomy I think you have to keep the motors and take an esc flier 400a, powered in 12s
Try some different batteries. Some SMC’s and you’ll go even faster and maybe put some fans on the motors. I noticed you keep checking the heat of the esc. They’re not hot unless the fan is running. The build is super dope I can believe you don’t have more traffic on this video I know it’s old. Excellent go cart super dope
Honestly shocked at the ability of the motor shafts and bearings to handle that load. I guess geared down it isn't crazy in theory.... but dammit the output of something that small is so impressive.
Wow! 70 is nuts for a couple rc motors! Congrats dude! I git a razor ground force drifter/gokart with a 1800watt 48v kit but it only runs about 32mph, still pretty happy with it tho lol how big are those wheels? I need some 6 or 8 inch rubbers lol
I'm only just getting done watching the build and this is already absolutely epic! Any chance you might know what I could get a frame like yours for by chance ? She's movin!

Sounds like a good plan. You can all ways use the torque control to limit the power, then when the kid is grown up, you can crank it up and make the thing fly! 😄
You’re gauges would be battery voltage, current draw and motor temps. I can see you adding a clutch for incase of any sudden or accidental moves.
