- Just a reaction video this week as I was a bit fatigued from making my typical short form fashion video essays so I wanted a week off!
I don't feel the best about this video honestly, but I think it's because I'm not used to talking completely off the top of my head. I usually write stuff for my other videos, but of course it will just take some time for me to get better. Anyway I hope you enjoyed.

Some people think fashion is vapid but to have a distinctive style and to critique style (if done well) requires intelligence. It's cool how dressing our avatars are a reflection on how we think (or follow/don't think), and your pov is smart and worth listening to. Good vid.

The other definition, (re: the Internet and gaming) more common definition you might be thinking of, is what may be tripping you up. Words can have multiple meanings with a similar essential origin. The suit the girl was wearing was hand made and costume made, i get why u viewed it as a Zara look but it was detailed and actually sustainable!
It was personally my favorite look from all of them and the only look i actually truly “liked” with maybe yellow jacket guy and some aspects of hat guy
I thought the blue hair/goth outfit was derivative, I felt like I have seen it before so many times with interchangeable shoes, clothes, purses, jewelry...so I was leaning toward putting it last. But then I thought about "ranking outfits" and that certainly came together as an outfit better than some of the others. These kinds of exercises raise more questions than provide answers, but as long as people are respectful of each other, maybe that's the point.
While the vintage woman her execution was not my favorite, and probably my least favorite outfit out of all of them whats sad is that she obviously has a interest in vintage fashion as her dress is a very common vintage cut, and shes one of the only people that probably researched more about her fashion. Its true that her style is a certain niche which she will connect stronger with
I appreciate your takes on an individual's fashion compared to focusing on a brand or trend so I thought this was a good video, hope to see more like this
Fashionlover4 with another great vid. Your input on everyone’s outfits seems impartial which is great for a stylistic situation like this because they’re putting styles up against each other. Personally I think all of these people know how to dress themselves and I dont see the point in ranking them except to reflect one's own personal tastes. It's all too subjective. I don't even think how a garment fits is necessarily relevant if the person likes it and feels comfortable. I liked hearing about how they felt about their own outfits but as soon as they started ranking each other I was like what's the point of this? They're all dressed for different occasions and different lives.
yeah but i feel the execution sometimes left to be desired. Like,i like suits but if you're rocking a very elegant 3 pieces, you don't wear a skintight ankle length trouser

‘Bastard’s outfit was the best. I like when an outfit can kind of be a public moodboard? And just from his fit I feel like he’d probably be an interesting guy to talk to.

Just a little tip: You should balance the 2 audio channels to be equal in volume, because I can barely hear the Jubilee video, so I increase my volume in order to hear them speak, but when you start talking WOW its loud af... so yeah.. :)
I disagree with the idea of a suit not being a safe choice, yeah you don’t see them often but when you think of typical masculine clothes the only hard universal example is a suit. It’s a very easy a to b connection
The chap in the skirt was definitely the best dressed out of the whole lot of men and women, it's such a vibe. But (no hate) just so you know the audio discrepency between you and the video you reacted to was a little tricky here, I had to have my mouse on the speaker volume. I know this is really awful to edit tho, there needs to be better audio equalisers in fcp, but just thought I'd let you know as a friendly comment 🙏

goth girl, newspaper dress, and flower sweater guy all just look like they got a haul from dollskill or some cheap shit store and made it their outfit. i don't actually see their outfits as having any character because i see this kinda stuff all the time
besides the flower guy, completely agree with u. feel like the bastard guy was definitely more curated and "him" in a sense
Should check out their videos where people guess prices of outfits. Could do something similar where you analyze the outfits and talk about your preferences.
the only reason flower guy got 1st two times in a row is because they didn’t want to come off as judgeful and not hurt his feelings. his outfit was a big statement and thats the reason they all kept it safe and chose him to be at the top.

I went for the flower guy because he's the only one that stood out. All of the other ones, I would have ignored while on my walk in NYC.
My brain would literally have a blind spot for all of the others.

At a point of my life this was something I'd juge I feel am at a point I don't even acknowledge how people dress unless it's truly beautiful.

The suit guy outfit is totally outdated is old fashioned and the femboy wear like the 80s or 90s outfit... I feel like meh..😑 But the emerald green clothes guy more like fit into these days fashion.

I honestly really dislike flower guy outfit as a whole. Would definitely put him at last, the suit guy would be 4th cause it was a really ugly suit, the other 3 ones were a bit safe but well... that's just what we had so i would put the bike jacket number 1, bastart cap guy in 2, and asian guy 3rd. As a whole i found the selection of men a bit boring, 3 super safe, one bad suit, and one all over the place, not fun to make a ranking from that.
Girls i would put the all white outfit number 1, camo pants number 2, the red hair girl three, barbie girl in 4 and the gothic/e-girl one in 5th
