If you are having a hard time getting rid of devices in your amazon account through the app or Alexa website, then I'm going to show where to go get it done.

Exactly what I needed thank you! Question : what will happen to the devices you deregister? For example I gave one to my mom and she has it at her house

Hi Chard, Nice job again thank you for you time. I got a ring doorbell is there any think I can do with it with Alexa??? apart from see who's at the door. Thanks Pete From UK
You are welcome & thank you very much. I'm pretty sure there are routines that you can create to incorporate the ring door bell. For example change your lights a different color with someone ring the door bell or have Alexa announce "Some one is at the door bell" Are you getting the idea?

excellent Chard, I deregistered 2 devices, took them to meet my sister, remembered that I need to deregister on the device, and did that, but was not online at the cafe. now it won't let her register them, it says they are still registered to me even though they are not on my amazon list. Help? amazon help said I had to deregister them.

Hi, explain things really well!! I'm having a similar that I've had for over 2 years and Amazon cannot rectify it. I am wondering if you have a solution? Every single one of my echo dots all show offline in the app. I can ask them the time, weather, set alarms etc but I can't connect smart devices because the app won't recognise anything. I have the registered, de-registerd, uninstalled/reinstalled over 50 times in last 2 years. Nothing works 😫

My parents used to borrow my Amazon account, then I added them as a family member instead. Now I still see their online Fire Stick on my account when on the Alexa app. Is there any way of not seeing the devices of a family member on my Alexa app account? I see it there in devices of the Alexa app, I just have no option for deregistering it. In my Amazon account it’s not listed as a device.
The only way I can think of is removing them from you account as family member. If not they are always going to be visible on your account. Also you probably have to go into you online account to deregistered the devices that's not show up in the app.
I have old devices linked to my amazon kindle account, but they're not listed here in the devices for me to remove them. what then?
Hello Heather, have you tried Deregistering/Factory Reset from the Kindle device (if you still have it)?

Any help for someone who has been hacked and can no longer access their Amazon account and having huge trouble with Amazon in recovering said account but I need to deregister my Alexa devices which I have about 10, any help?
It didn't even bring up half of my devices. I just want to shut everything down and start over. I never could get my car device hooked and now none of my plugs work and I have reset and reset.
