I took almost nothing when I went back in 2000. I was issued everything but sports bras and underwear. And it all had to be white. I was issued spandex shorts.
This video is going to help me pack-thanks so much! Not to be TMI but how did those black colored sports bras work out with lint, inspections, etc! I was under the impression we needed all black undergarments as well and am curious about exchanging them before I leave !
It took me a year. But that’s only because I had a terrible first recruiter and we never met in person. I found my current recruiter and he is amazing. I was in DEP for 3 months. I know it’s kinda intimidating when meeting with a recruiter but ask all the questions you want! Good luck 🍀
Did they make you to throw away the shampoo? I was told that whatever bottles we bring they should be labeled like they have to be kept in the original bottles
When you say they inspect the bras/underwater and like colors for lent .. can you elaborate? Like they do inspect them while they’re on us or while they’re packed? If that makes sense
Honestly still not sure myself but I’m going to assume it’s whenever we’re done folding laundry and they come and check out clothes. I can update you whenever I finish bootcamp lol sorry!
Went through a year ago. Towards the end of bmt they go through our lockers and drawers and they have to be set up a certain way. Part of it is making sure you don’t have any strings or lint on them.

The bras weren't a hassle for me honestly and you could wear any color honestly it wasn't an issue but what was very common was light grey!

Went whenever we still had mandatory once a week phone calls because of COVID but towards the end they change it back to no calls.
Is birth certificate absolutely necessary to bring?
