I was about 13 or 14, I was home alone because my mom was working a 4pm to 12am shift as a custodian at the local middle school and my brother was out with his friends. It was about 9pm and I was playing. Just enjoying it and that damn laugh came out of nowhere. And having a surround sound system at the time, it was turned way up and it really freakin scared me. I just flinched, hit pause and looked around the living room and kitchen. Scared me to the point to where I called my two friends to come over and play a few games of Left 4 Dead 2 on Xbox Live, since it was Friday night and one lived across from my mom’s and the other was two houses away from my mom’s. I had no clue it was the game until the next day, and I had a good laugh at myself.

Playing as Kurt Angle, I got my ass stomped because Cena is immune to submission holds and that's a huge part of playing as Angle. I went back and played as Lesner and despite my dominance in the match, still barely won.
I played as edge and was so confused lol i switched it to brock lesnar and beat the shit out of “super cena” which was john cena being invisible and only saw his clothes xD that was fun to do and i unlocked him for winning lol

I remember in SVR 2008 when the siblings betrayed me after getting caught by Vince. when you're at RAW and still the current WWE Champion after denying Stephanie's offer to take away your title. within a few weeks you'll able to get your hands on Shane on a Last Man Standing match. I beat him up so brutality by having his limbs completely injured with his face bleeding.
i remember trying so hard to beat the Undertaker at WrestleMania I played for a like an hour and a half and I lost because I went on the top turnbuckle like a dummy yeah jump to get reverse into a tombstone i never forget that emotional damage lol 😂

Every time i replayed this road to wrestlemania, I would be scared. This would be back when I was 9 years old and thought wwe was real instead of it being sports entertainment.
I havent played a wrestling game in forever,and maybe story modes are still creative today,but there was something special. About games like SVR that they put so much thought into the story and leaned into the fantastical nature of the world of wrestling. Like the you vs undertaker match that it just felt special and unique. Honestly making me want to get wwe2k23 though it seems like quailty of games now are all over place lol. Also forgot to bring up the level of voice acting nobody really phoned in it and was giving a effort which you can appreciate.

On the keyboard you could cheat to get another wrestler to come to the ring to help you but on rare occasions it punished the player by turning on him. The odds were about 50/50. But in EXTREMELY RARE conditions the skins on the wrestler wouldnt load correctly and the other wrestler was totally invisible. The odds have been reported at being 1 in 250,000,000 so I only saw this once but OMG I was out of breath laughing! When this strange glitch occured I was playing as Hollywood Hogan vs DDP and was getting mangled so I pressed C. What happened next is forever burned into my mind! The camera angle turned to the entrance and the ghost of Dean Malenco crawled into the ring and body slammed me out the ring LMAO. The controls bugged out as well so I was essentially defenseless! It's very similar to the famous glitch in doom where the game becomes an unplayable mess, the player and the monsters can walk through walls, no doors or switches work and monsters can only take splash damage.
My biggest complaint about 2k22 is the controls they should have kept the controls from 2k19 or even 2k20 nothing was wrong with them there were things that needed to change but not the controls if they don't revert back to the old controls and get rid of the combos and block features then i probably won't buy it we don't need combos or blocks in a Wrestling game if you want that in a game go play some of the popular side scroll fighting games leave the wrestling games alone. The speed of the game is fine and unlimited reversals that's great and i would enjoy the game more if the controls get changed back and probabaly change the pin style back to the B button it's awkward having to use the Joystick to Pin someone. If they combined the Graphics and modes of 2k22 and the detailed features of 2k19 with there control scheme i think it would be the best wrestling 2k game I'm hoping 2k23 might be it.

Oh i won that Vince ref match. When i figured out Vince was counting slow i just beat the absolute crap out of the guy for like 30 minutes where he just couldnt kick out anymore. Idk if i discovered a glitch but its definitely possible
