I like very much the way she explains, showing every step she is doing..it's simpler this way, and I cannot complain I did not understand..but I hate the people that talk to much when they are making a tutorial, it is so annoying! You want to see action not to hear them talking for an hour! She iis great and inspiring! I like her videos! ( sorry for my english, i don' t speak very well)
@MyOwnWorldMegan its probably because the tension is wrong for the fabric your using. get a small piece of the fabric you are about to use, and try a bunch of different tension settings. after you find the right one write it down on the sample fabric. i had the same problem, but this worked for me.
Gianny,you are my idol because of you i sew.Never stop making thease videos you are very creative and the videos are helpful....The other day i wanted to make a skirt like this so i went out and bought a pattern,it didnt help At All.I couldnt understand it.And when i tried it it didnt come out right :( but when i watched this video i actually did it and it worked! Now i have a beautiful dress :) Thankyou!

I Don't Know Her Personaly But She Came Out On The "Spanish'' News One Time And That Was One Questions She Was Asked And The Reason Why She Doen't Talk In Her Videos Is Because Her Videos Are Seen ALL OVER THER WORLD And Not Everybody Knows Spanish Nor English. It Makes It Easiar Just To View.

what she does is measure the elastic to your waist size and sew the elastic onto the fabric (the elastic will appear short than the fabric), while she sews the elastic onto the fabric, she is stretching the elastic out. That gives the wrinkled look.
if you sew the white elastic on the fabric,the fabric becomes smaller und ruffled...should I cut the fabric bigger ,so the skirt fits better with the elastric?
Hello Gianny, do you think the skirt would be that nice if I would use chambray fabric? Or would it look kinda droppy? I don't know if that material wold be to thin to look like the one you used!

I really like the idea of using a thin elastic to create the gathering rather than doing it by hand, which can be a huge hassle. Love it.
