That’s sad. Irene Cara died last year. This movie has made my heart happy she’s at peace. This song “Love is the Reason” I sing to her memory in heaven. God bless her. 😢😇. RIP Irene Cara (1959-2022)
This is so sad, I loved this film 30 years ago as a kid and now, almost the entire cast has died. Irene Cara, Ed Asner, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Dom DeLuise, Carol Channing...all gone.
I remember watching this film at my godparents' house in Oakland, and I should note that Phyllis Diller (the voice of Mother Nature), Zsa Zsa Gabor (the voice of Blossom), Carol Channing (the voice of Muddy), and Jonathan Harris (the voice of the Sunflower) were in their 70s when Happily Ever After hit theaters. Female voice actors Linda Gary and Tracey Ullman each did the voice of more than one dwarfelle.
I would have to agree with you because these people died years apart from each-other. Dom Deluise - 2009. (14 Years ago (2023)). Carol Channing - 2019. (4 Years ago (2023). Zsa Zsa Gabor - 2016. (7 Years ago (2023). Phyllis Diller - 2012. (11 Years ago (2023). Ed Asner - 2021. (2 Years ago (2023). Irene Cara. - 2022. (1 Year ago (2023). I wish I could turn back time and bring them and all the other Celebrity's that have passed away, Like, 1. Jack Palance. 2. Michael Gambon. 3. Michael Jeter. 4. Alan Rickman. 5. Robin Williams. 6. Heath Ledger. 7. John Candy. 8. John Ritter. 9. Marcia Wallace. 10. Edward Lawerence Albert. 11. Gardner Baldwin. 12. Michael Clarke Duncan. 13. Chadwick BOISEMAN. 14. Frank Gorshin. 15. YES YES YES!! Keep the footage of Irena Cara Coming. I'm writing a book on her life and this is EXACTLY what I needed. Thank you for putting it on RUclips.
My first time seeing this . Rest up Irene Cara. This is my favorite childhood memories watching this with my cousins, my mom, Aunt & my brothers . forever my favorite film
Bittersweet memories!! I was just a kid when I watched this film for the first time, and that was so long ago 😞Such a beautiful story. It´s so sad to think time has stolen so many amazing artists 😞
This is so surreal, still love this movie though. And I’m wondering how well it holds up. It’s been years 😅 but I will say I wish they would have released a soundtrack or at least “Love is the Reason” as it’s own single. 😢
I gave it a rewatch last night as a double feature with Pinocchio and the Emperor Of The Night. Both of them held up really well to be frank. Even at 31 I still enjoyed it.
R.I.P to Most of the Cast of this Wonderful Movie. 1. Irene Cara. 2. Ed Asner. 3. Dom Deluise. 4. PHYLLIS DILLER. I Wish I could Bring Them and all the other celebrity's Back to Life too. 1. I like how they actually mentioned Filmation made it.

Wish there was behind the scenes for Pinocchio and the Emperor of the Night😅😅😅
Irene Cara is a great fit for Snow White.
"It's gonna be a success, I can feel it."
Oh, it sure was, wasn't it? :[
a successful failure at the end of the day that it shut down the studio, but i guess Filmation marked a legacy on its own, i suppose
Who knew Dom DeLuise was a good poet?
