Man, this is a really awesome video, and I'm really glad I've gotten to see it. I studied the Okinawan method, and the foundational kata I learned in my lineage was Maezato no Nunchaku. Apart from holding the sticks at the opposite end from how you show here, and lacking the reversed flourishing, the basics are pretty well identical, right down to the "slingshot" position that I learned as a parry, and the behind-the-shoulder preparatory move before the flourish, which in the Okinawan kata, ends with a catch in the empty hand at the hip. Really awesome to see the similarities!
