      Why wouldn't you defend the truth? There are natural preservatives like salt and vinegar which will even keep a homemade 100% natural burger away from forming mold.
      It's not about defending, it's about telling the truth. Wouldn't eat at Mc Donalds or burgerking anyway though

      Burger king makes their burgers from natural ingredients, so naturally mold forms faster on them, Id rather eat a burger like that than a burger that stays eatable for years

    Only few understand the GENIUS of this spot! At day 34, that Whopper was moldy, meaning there is less chemical stuff in, meaning it kinda healty compared to other foods. And it's brilliant

    This is one of those moments where you’re disgusted by a food product and you’re still eating it. Now that Burger King is going to get known for this ad I think it is the perfect opportunity for them to rename their whoppers as the, Krabby patty that killed the health inspector.

I prefer Burger King over McDonalds but man, I don't think I'll ever eat another burger from Burger King again. On a sub-conscious level I can't un-see what they just showed me. I'd be surprised if this didn't hurt Burger King's bottom line.

      The cycle of death is never a beautiful thing. What things decompose and don't get eaten my bugs or have bloating hours after death. Hamburger meat so not be a freak of nature its not like its jerky its very juicy fresh. If it stay fresh at room temperature for more then a week and not mold that very scary. Let alone a month or more. its like the burger at mcdonalds before the new quarter pound were preserved like a dead body but never put in there grave but instead are stomachs

    People say it's disgusting presentation, humanely speaking. But for realistically perspectives, it's a good knowledge as to the quality hygiene of what we're eating.

    I get the ad, it’s supposed to show that is uses real ingredients unlike McDonalds, which uses preservatives, but then again, people are stupid. For example, once Wendy’s made a 1/3 pounder to compete with McDonalds’ quarter-pounder, but a bunch of idiots said that it was a scam because according to them, “1/4 iS mOrE tHaN 1/3”

    Great advertisement !!! This means that all the “panino” is fresh, mold grows on natural products, this is the message!
    You have to know that in Iceland, for example, a “panino” of the main competitor has been stored since 2009, but it has not decomposed after more than 10 years!!!

      You know that even homemade burgers can look fresh after many years? Salt and Vinegar are natural preservatives which prevents even 100% natural Burgers from forming a mold.

      I respectfully disagree. Appetite appeal is everything in the food industry especially when it comes to advertising. This turned me off from ever eating another Burger from BK again. I'm sure eventually that imagery will wear off, but right now I'm traumatized by it.

    I think you guys are finding it hard to understand that ALL food molds, it’s the bad food that doesn’t mold, so it’s not “gross”, just eat your whopper the same hour you buy it so your lil panties don’t get scared of mother nature’s most natural process.

      They did it to show that their burger is natural and not full of artificial preserves unlike other fast food restaurants the food doesnt age because it is not natural and u healthy so they are just making a statement that their burger is natural

      @@jameskelley5918 Yes, indeed, and the 'everybody is talking about it" angle is something I'm sure the agency will stress. But the fact that many people are talking about how disgusting it looks and how that reflects on everything BK puts on the menu is the poison pill that the agency won't be talking about.

      @@radical-dude Its terrible advertising...seeing something you want to eat with mold all over it will gross most people out and their brains will associate that food with mold...not a good plan - thats why food ads normally make food look fresh and delicious...I get what they are trying to do, but really really bad idea.

      The McDonalds one never got moldy because it eventually dried out completely... Also the ones from the experiments where literally only the bun and the patty, no sauce, salad or other moist vegetables.

    Three years and three ad agencies to come up with this? And they are claiming it is receiving rave reviews online? I thought ALL the car insurance ads on TV was the biggest insult to our collective intelligence. I was wrong! Burger King needs to get back to hiring people with a clue.
