Am I missing something? For the whole section on solrock and lunatone their ability says (excluding Pokemon-ex). So wouldn’t that not work against half the examples brought up?
I think when you combine it with the stadium “Battle Frontier” evolved colorless ex Pokémon like flygon are included in the ability lock… not sure how flareon ex is covered though being fire type
There’s certainly quite an assortment of HM cards missing, but the gimmick of cards that can’t deal any damage, rather than cards never used for their damage, is a neat distinction that hasn’t really been processed much. Neat gimmick!
Yeah. OG Kangaskhan is like the classic example of that. You play it because it's a fat body that just draws cards. It HAS an attack, it's just a horrible one that you're only using as a meme, or in the worst bricks imaginable. (Or maybe with Venusaur, with the intent of siphoning the energy off later anyways)
In the frogdier bit you could have added mirage step kirlia and how good it was, also junk hunt sableye was an amazing card that ran the format, alolan vulpix is also another great Pokemon that was there for stage 2 decks since it let you look for cards, the new cleffa is also seeing a lot of play, as well as rotom v, make a part two for this one!
video idea: top 10 cards made specifically to counter 1 strategy. for example: the kyurem coming out in the next SV set that does 100 to 3 mons for no energy cost only if your opponent has a colres card in their discard pile (this kills lost zone decks). possibly also the drapion V used to kill mew Vmax; or the huntail/gorebyss with rapid/single strike canceller ability
Xurkitree GX’s GX attack lets you look at your opponent’s hand, pick a card, and add it to their face down prizes. It’s a very rare effect for them to give a card though
I know how to play the Pokémon video games, the Yugioh TCG but I’ve never been able to grasp the Pokemon TCG however the logs videos are too entertaining to pass up
That Ditto is strong. It's just like Single Strike Mustard supporter. He can literally cheat out a Single Strike Urshifu VMAX from the deck (Any single strike, no limitations like basics) + 5 cards if Mustard is your last in your hand.
unlike the pokemon vgc in which there are strategies that include event exclusive moves on certain shiny pokemon, the cards text is always the same and the only additional effect you get for playing an alt art is to be cool and maybe confuse your opponent for a second if they don't recognize it
There is no world palkia dialga legend is top 10... prize mill was a meme deck that saw basically no success and the legend saw absolutely 0 use outside of the deck, and there are COUNTLESS cards not in the list that were wayyyyyy better. Just off the top of my head, pichu from hgss was incredibly good and widely used, and cleffa from hgss was even better (though a different cleffa is already on the list). Another card wayyyyyyyy better than dialga palkia legend is legendary treasures spiritomb. And finally, amazing rare jirachi was wayyyyyy better than the legend ever was and BENCH BARRIER MEW WAS AN ABSOLUTE TOP TIER card the entire time it was standard legal. Also, calling greninja break decks "super consistent" is an absolute joke. The deck was infamous for being INSANELY INconsistent.
@@jake9107 I wouldn't say emotional. But I'm very passionate about the game, especially older formats, and its annoying when it feels like someone is just pushing lazy content without proper research in order to farm views BECAUSE it gives people warped incorrect knowledge.
Could you make sure to say what set the Pokémon comes from? Just saying “number 9, we have Jirachi” and leaving it at that isn’t that useful. There’s like 20 Jirachi cards. Which one is it? Also, the Pokémon pronunciation could use some work. Kyurem isn’t pronounced kee-ur-ee-um. Where is the second “u” coming from?
10) Dialga & Palkia LEGEND
5) Absolute Destruction Yveltal
1) Baby
I would love to hear about top 10 mega evolutions
This time next year he can make the list and Charizard will be 4 of them
12:05 Note to the editor: Hiro got that part right in the voice-over. A single water energy does power both attacks.

idk if there's been one but top 10 highest potential damage in one hit would be interesting
these are best videos to fall asleep to out there (this is a good thing)

Sableye doesn't count because it has an attack that can do damage. The fact it was almost never used is irrelevant.

I would like to hear about top 10 Pokémon that knock out therself with z.b Mismagius
Ik they're the same card functionally, but has there ever been a reason to run an alt/full art version of a card?
Of course there is, they’re cooler. What other reason do you need?

Eeeeeekkk!
Junk hunt Sabelye not being on this list is a attrocity.
blame Confuse Ray.
