My boy, Jim Raynor, walking CLOSER to Diablo when he is charging at him head on and then having the giga balls to just lower his visor when a nuclear strike is coming is the purest form of badassery. For him, another monster that is charging at him full force is just another day in the Koprulu sector XD

Yep. The Koprulu sector is an extremely wild and brutal place. Doesn't your average Terran Marine with aimbot systems, gauss rifles that shoot out to multi kilometer ranges, power armor, brain implanted training, stim pack, and combat shield only have like 8 seconds of average survival time?

what about kerrigans rifle? in the warcraft 2 cinema she wasn't shooting zerglings, she fighting big ass Zergs and manage to blow the jaw of one of them, and even a few extremities, also swords and even less something like frost mourne would cut trough metal or a futuristic rifle, that only happens on weaboo comics (yeh manga) for magical or indestrutible frost mourne can be it doesn't mean it's sharp enough.
Also there was never implied that she killed or incapacitated Arthas in the video at any moment, she could just disapear leave one of her holografic clones to help Raynor.
Also if we are talking about things that happens for the sake of the video, I would worry more about Kerrigan... I mean she is the Swarm, she could end that battle in less that a second like she basically destroyed a line of terrans just with one her super jumps or summoning a Zerg Rush.

From this trailer I demand:
1. Female skin for Diablo
2. Nuclear strike instead of Orbital for Nova
the problem its, the one whit nuclear atack its tychus in odin form, you can give the same skill todo 2 heroes

+Hai Nguyen they took D3 female skin for cinematic only because it was easier to take a 3D model already done and because Diablo V.3 looks more attractive, but I don't think the femalade model will ever appear in-game...Sadly. (IMO D3 skin version is the best one of all 3)

It's just an extra model that's totally different from his normal one, so they kind of have to do it from scratch. They also either have to sell it somehow (which would be a hard sell). Or more likely it'll be a promo thing for the next Diablo product.

Nukes in original StarCraft and Brood War were much stronger. In SC2 Blizzard seriously nerfed nukes by reducing the radius of effect and increasing the damage drop over distance from the point of impact.

Jon Snow If the heroes are unique and entertaining enough, they wont need to consistently make more for the game to be fun.
League of Legends is still hard to beat imo, 2 years playing lol and still have fun and don't even master all champs while the list keeps growing. Not sure if Heroes of the Storm would keep that interest after a few months (assuming it'll be a great game). I'm not a hater, I actually love blizzard stuff and I'm very excited about this game.

As much as I love League of Legends, I don't care if Blizzard is copying them or not. Being someone who has played and loved all of the Blizzard games, seeing the trailers to this game got me ridiculously hype. I can't wait to see what becomes of this.
how can they even copy LoL ? they made a game from which dota (first moba) originated, and also, every moba that comes out is now a clone from some other moba ? how come people say nothing about FPS or mmorpgs ? maybe because there arent that much mobas, people wont care anymore in few years when there are much more mobas i hope, cuz its pissing me off... its like when you produce chocolate, you copy other chocolate companies
Neoticus Ominus Well, I don't know much about moba games and which one came first and from where, stuff like that. But I do say that it is unfair to say someone is copying from someone else. Someone is bound to be the first to make such a game but that doesn't mean that others can't make a similar game. It's like you said with the chocolate thing, and I do agree that in a couple of years, they probably won't be saying it's a copy since there probably will be more of these kinds of games since they're becoming so popular. Like I said, I don't really care, and I won't pretend to know that much about it. But what I can say is that because of LoL (Whether these games originated from that one or not), I can appreciate how good this game can become, and I'm psyched for it.
Manny Garcia It isn't gonna be a copy or anything . The gameplay will differ alot more from dota , LoL or any other MOBAS with skill trees and perks . Gameplay would be typically 15 min to 20 mins

Neoticus Ominus You're right about Blizzard making the game and map editor that the first Moba was made with. But the game was Starcraft and the custom map was Aeon of Strife. That being said, I think it's fair to give Dota the credit for solidifying the MOBA style game as a legitimate genre somewhere between RPG and RTS.
No matter how many times I watch this it always makes my neck hair stand on end.

Okay just wondering. Why would HotS replace LoL? The Blizzard game isn't even close to balanced, no items, shared exp. The game looks fun, I'm sure I will play it and have fun with it. But it's no comparison to LoL, which pretty much orbits around mechanics, map awareness etc. to be good in this game. In high level play in LoL you always have to know what your next objective is, when you have to group and where you should push. From the videos I've seen from HotS I only see the teams group either when it's late in the game or when stuff like the Dragonknight appear.

My problem with this trailer.
1. Raynor fighting his lover, Kerrigan.
2. How exactly do those wings on Kerrigan make her fly? That wasn't in in star craft 2.
3. Why is Nova even in this trailer, she didn't have a real game, she's not even remotely important.
4. What was the point of the Lich King pointing his sword at nova?
5. Why does nova's sniper rifle, sound like a shotgun?
6. Since when do marines run out of ammunition?
7. What kind of a moron launches a nuke, right near their ally?
8. Is Jim really that stupid in thinking by putting down his blast shield he will be safe from a nuclear blast.
Other than that, this trailer is awesome, 10/10.

2. In the final cinematic of Heart of the Swarm, Kerrigan does fly away from Raynor saying goodbye.
3. Its a trailer they needed a ghost to end the trailer with a nuke and Nova happens to be a ghost, also she actually is a really strong character in the sc2 universe, but hasn't really showed up until some maps sc2 single player
4. That's the same move that he makes in the WotLK intro cinematic
5. Thats how it usually sounds in the cinematics (watch the one where Kerrigan gets left behind)
6. They do run out of ammo, also shown in many cinematics, Broodwar intro for example

3. She almost had a game, but it was cancelled close to it's release. She's also in the lore through books and has some minor roles in both SC2 games.

6. There was actually a cinematic in SC1 (I believe it was SC1, might have been SC2) where a marine runs out of ammunition. You can actually see the ammo amount on the side of his gun count down to 0.

8. He has more than that, he's got character shields! But yeah ... obviously that was made in jest.
There is only one response needed, in MOBA style games any heroes can be put against any heroes so this is just 2 teams of 3 duking it out as random heroes

Frostmourne has shattered at least 5 insanely powerful weapons, I hardly believe an assault rifle would stop it, but whatever Blizz feels. xD

Frostmourne just met the Modern Era.
+The Official Sikris Insanely powerful weapons made out of wood and iron. That rifle is made of future tech composites and alloys.
+Elthenar Frostmourne has shattered weapons made of Thorium a metal six times heavier (hence denser) then steel, I doubt any rifle that can comfortably be carried and held by a human could weigh as much as it would have to be to be dense enough to block Frostmourne.
Here's how I reason this all away...
Raynor is fighting against some big nasty that looks like an overlarge hydralisk, so he knows his number might be coming up, but he'll go down fighting.
Kerrigan and Tyrael are vying for air superiority, and both seem to be evenly matched. Or maybe they're having a first date, never having met another soul like them who could fly.
Normally, Frostmourne would be able to murder Nova and her weapon, but Nova is just so hot that the heat from her sexiness keeps the Lich King at bay while she nukes Diablo AND takes out Raynor for siding with Tosh.
Thus endeth my take on things.

Seriously, why the hell have Blizzard not come out with a movie? Do they know how much money they would make? Their animators and developers are friggin amazing!
Even though you must be trolling, I will tell you anyway. They are making a movie and they have set it to be released in 2015. Duncan Jones is directing it.

Short Answer: They don't have enough people to make 90 minutes of CG within a good amount of time and still do their intro movies.
They don't have a large enough cinematics department. These guys can roughly out put about 20 minutes of pre-rendered stuff a year. Imagine how long it would take to output 90 minutes worth. about 4 years at current capacity, and that's not including making the intros for the 3 games they have. PIXAR and Disney have entire studios the size of Blizzard working on films.

The CGI looks amazing? Blizzard is pretty good at it. This shows nothing of the game, so who knows how long that will be. With Blizzards glacial pace, a CGI intro means the game should be here in 2 years.

Just imagine if the developers of HoS, LoL, and DotA/DotA2 teamed up and made one super moba. It would have the incredible depth, challenge, and graphics of Dota2, the fun, fast paced action if LoL, and the creative ideas of HoS like the map ideas and the npcs that join your team when you defeat them. Like seriously to me that would be the greatest thing ever.

I don't much experience with LoL, I've only played a few hours on my friends computer. But from what they tell me, LoL is pretty fast paced... But I don't know, maybe they haven't played DotA2...

It's Starcraft, where technology is highly advanced. Look at Nova cloaking for example.
The Starcraft nukes aren't normal nukes their nukes are just big bombs it's very underpowerd for something called a nuke I mean In the game you have to stand like 30-40 meters away to launch it

For people wondering how Jim survived the blast he’s wearing a modified version of the cmc-400 hard skin which has a very improved version of the standard marines version of the nbc shielding unit (nuclear,biological, chemical) so yes his suit will protect him from the blast so long as he isn’t within the epicenter of the blast area
I love how people are arguing over Arthas or Diablo being nerfed in this video, when realistically Infested Kerrigan is by far the strongest being here lore-wise.
She can singlehandedly use her Psionic Powers to crush Battleships, and if anyone has played the final mission of Starcraft II, Wings of Liberty, it literally takes a army of the Terran's heavy firepower in your base focusing fire on Kerrigan just to disable her.
In Comparison...Diablo gets singelhandedly in every incarnation beaten by 1 Nephilim, (hero of Diablo 2 & 3), and the Lich King gets beaten by a group of adventurers who are using vastly inferior arms to Terrans.
