My first time eating shrimp and grits was purely by accident, but after tasting shrimp and grits, and with a special request from my good friend Curtis Wallace, I knew it would be a good video to make. I've loved grits, especially cheesy grits, all my life...and I've loved shrimp all my life too...so this combination is just one big batch of love! Shrimp and grits has a deep history in the south, actually originating in Africa. Everyone has their own twist on the recipe and that's okay, because you can't go wrong with this dish!!
